Yesterday marked the day, that Mr. Popular wanted to make a move on me, and got mad when he was rejected.

We were cool last school year, sophomore year, but I guess his ego has inflated over the summer.

We met during the last month of school. We always saw each other around school, but we didn't really speak to each other or have a conversation until then. We bumped into each other in the hall way, one day.

He looked down at me with angry eyes before that anger faded.

"My bad, Ma," he said.
"You're fine," I smiled slightly while beginning to walk away.

I was already late for class, and I assumed he and his boys were skipping class.

"I'll catch y'all later," I could hear him say.

"Aye... Aye, wait up, Ma," I could hear him.
I glanced back to see him jogging toward me.
"Slow down. Slow down. I wanna talk to you, baby," he spoke as I reluctantly came to a stop.
"I'm not your baby," I told him.
He smirked.
"You will be. Just watch," he replied.
I rolled my eyes and continued my walk to class.
"Where are you going anyway?" he asked.
"Class. Where else would I be going?" I asked.

He shrugged.
"We could hang," he suggested.
"No, no. I'm late already," I shook my head.
"Come on now, baby," his arm slipped around my shoulders.
"I'm not your baby," I repeated.
"Okay, okay. Fine... What should I call you then?" he asked.
"Hazel," I replied.
"I'll call you Hazy," he said.
"No, it's Hazel," I corrected him.
"And, I'm going to call you Hazy. Is that alright, Hazel?" he smirked.

A slight laugh slipped from my lips as I shook my head.

"And, what should I call you?" I asked...
"Christopher," he smiled...

After that day, he walked me to every other class and even began sitting with me at lunch, but that was about it. It was nothing more and nothing less. No seeing each other on weekends, no dating, no calling or texting each other. He was more of a school friend. A friend you only see at school...

But, this year... This year, he's a fucking asshole..

The first day, he waltzed into the Chemistry lab and scanned the room. Once his eyes were set on me, he gave me a seductive smirk and approached me.

"Hey, Christopher," I smiled.
"Hey, baby," he stood next to where I sat on a stool.
"Let's not start this again, Chris," I smirked and shook my head.
"Start what?" he bit his lip.
"Calling me baby," I blushed.

I could feel his eyes scanning my attire.
"What?" I looked up at him.
"Nothing," he licked his lips.
I blushed.
"I don't get a hug or anything? Wow, what a warm welcome back to school," he spoke sarcastically.

I smiled slightly before standing.
"Y'know, I missed you, Haze. I was hoping we could've kicked it," he spoke as I stood on my tiptoes.
"Aww," I smiled as my arms wrapped around his neck.

His arms wrapped around my waist, and it was a nice hug until I felt his hand creeping down my back and squeezing my butt.

"Hey!" I pushed him back.
He laughed.
"Come on, baby girl," he had his arms open and his head cocked to the side.

"I don't know why you gettin' all red and shit," his face scrunched up.
"You don't know why? You just tried to--."
"So, you didn't like that? You mean to tell me you didn't like me touching on you?" he asked as I sat back down.
