Now Lillian and I were waiting on her dad so he could pick her up. I really didn't want to see his face at the moment even though I know I'll have to.
"There goes daddy!" Lillian yelled as she ran for his car. I watched him get out and scoop him up in her arms. Only thing missing in that picture was me. I walked over to them and Lilian gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you mommy"
"I love you too" I said softly
Chris put her in the car and strapped her in her booster seat then closed her door. He turned to me and his face looked a bit sad for a moment but it was gone within a second. He walked closer to me and grabbed my hands he laid his head in the crook of my neck and kissed it softly.
"I'm so sorry" he whispered
"I know" I said trying not to cry
"Come home you don't need to back to that shelter" he said
"Okay-" before I could finish my sentence he kissed me passionately.
I pulled away and hugged him tightly
"I love you so much" I cried
"I love you too"
He opened the car door for me and I got in. He jogged around the front and got in himself.
"Daddy is Mariah gonna be at home?" Lillian asked
"Well...is she?" I.asked
"No..." he said
"Chris where is she then?" I said
"I don't know" he sighed
"Chris she's pregnant what do you mean you don't know!?" I yelled
I know Mariah and I are far from friends but that's still his baby she's carrying. It's his responsibility
