They fall and they pour.
For the rich and the poor.
It's the same.
A wet summer isn't loved anywhere.
The sun is most missed when the sky starts to cry.
The rain starts to fall, wash away old misfortune bring in new.
It's when those tears have to flow, cleanse the soul.
Yesterday was a tomorrow someone looked forward to.
Energy often fades but they say never dies.
But I am getting weaker, I don't know if it's true.
It'd be sad if with a lie I pushed through.
I am told to be stronger, be a man.
I confess it gets harder by the day.
To hold this teardrop back could be the death of me.
If men don't cry, why does it pour when it rains?
I say they're the same, raindrops and the tears.
It's why it pours when it rains.
With the sun returns the smiles.
Broken hearts keep hidden as they heal.
But you know when it rains once again, it will pour.
I say they're the same, raindrops and the tears.

Thanks for your time
