Days Gone, Past left
Days have gone.
The past has remained.
If there's a thing you can trust,
be sure it's not men.
Trees don't hate but,
haven't heart or brain.
It's what we all seek.
The gain with no pain.
So you hate the world?
Glad you're sane.
Point away that finger & forget you're the same.
Give away nothing except the blame.
Just live your life like a flame.
With no friend or foe just food for your fire.
They're all only good if they've your desire.
It'll never quench your thirst all that gold you acquire.
There's one who knows you it's his grace you require.
When all your days have gone,
at that time you'll retire.
When you breathe a last time,
on that day you'll bow out.
You'll see from far off,
all the joy you could've brought.
It was there all of that time & free it couldn't be bought.
And then you'll get a thought.
You are neither lost nor found.
The past is you and you're it,
you both are compound.
As the days have gone,
the past stuck around.
