Nine

I broke up with Nathan.

It was a good thing we had going and he was supportive and caring but i couldnt continue it. I didnt see it lasting anyways. Daniel was messing up my feelings and i couldnt stand thinking about him and Nathan at the same time.

He didnt take it well though.

"You're ending things with me?"

"Yes..."

"Is it because of your ex who showed up recently?"

"Partly. I havent been able to concentrate with him around and i think it's best if i dont bring that into our relationship. So i want to end the relationship"

"You still love him dont you?"

"Nathan..."

"I saw this coming. How is it possible that you would do this?"

"We have this bond, this connection that i cant break. I'm concerned about him"

"Caring about him is different from loving him"

"And yes, i still love him"

The hurt in Nathan's eyes was so apparent i could touch it.

"I'm sorry"

"Dont be", he said, holding up a hand, "Thanks a lot for this though"

He closed the door on my face like i did to Ella.
