Chap#3 "Miss Sarena Venderwoodsen"

Kat's POV:

The car was moving swiftly on the road,  I can see from the side mirror,  daddy's men were following us in their big jeeps,

they were right on our tail. All my sisters were humming and dancing to the song playing on the radio,

I was just not in the mood to dance as I had a very tiring war with Barbara and I needed to calm myself before I reach school,

I don't want to brag but it's quite tiring to be famous you know as my dad is a really successful man being a Mafia boss and a drug dealer is not everyone's piece of cake,

Not to mention my achievements am the It Girl of our school, the one who is always drowning in gossips, they worship me, despise me, they want to be me and I, I want to be invisible, I am buried knee deep into the quicksand of rumors, I just want to breathe.

I smiled while thinking about daddy and how many men would he be manipulating and threatening right now but I was pulled out from my chain of thoughts by a message,

my phones been buzzing like hell since I woke up and I know who it is, I open my phone and scan the contact name, it was Cody, I thought so.

"What do you want Cody," I messaged him coldly. "What's wrong, what did I do now," he said in his smooth voice I can feel he is quite confused right now.

"Nothing" I huffed poor Cody he is always the one to handle my mood swings when Randy is not around,

surprisingly Randy didn't message me, is he dead or something, because he is always the first one to say "Good morning beautiful rise and shine"

He is literally a man every girl dreams of but to me he is just my best friend who I can never live without,

I think that's why my mood is off I miss him, but I messaged him a thousand times why didn't he reply Arrgh I huffed in frustration.

The car was not moving now, our security guards opened both the doors and we all jumped out quickly as if we were given 10 minutes before the blast takes place,

at this thought I started smiling, I saw Avril and Taylor running to their classes both are in the same class,

I saw Barbara and Tina walking slowly towards their destination, why is Barbara so sad,

it was just a normal fight we had, I will apologize to her later, she looked my way and passed a smile, I smiled back, then what is the issue behind her sadness I thought and suddenly collided into a wall and was about to fall, when I heard,

"Got'cha like always",

I pushed him and punched him in the stomach to which he dodged and swiftly turned me around,my back perfectly settled against his huge chest.

"Woah, Woah chica calm down your punch bag is here to save you," said Randy amusingly, I struggled in his hold and tried to escape his arms, damn he is strong.

"Let me go right now!",I ordered, to which he replied with a smirk,"not until you tell me whats wrong and what have I done", damn why everybody keeps asking me that,

first Cody and now Randy. I finally stopped struggling to which he softened his hold and turned it into a back hug, I didn't push him, I love his hugs, he knows how to calm me down, he knows my secret.

"Why didn't you text me", I asked him normally to which he replies,"my phone was dead kat, I was at my father's launch party for the new company and I didn't have the time to charge that freakin thing, so I left it at home and asked my personal butler (Dave) to bring it when it's fully charged".
