Chap#6"Ms Moving On"

Katrina's POV:

I was holding two dresses in my hands, one was a short dress in peach color, it's length was till my hips, soft light pink embroidery splashed upon it. The other one was navy blue in color, length covering my knees, backless. I couldn't decide, I groaned in frustration.

"What's up beautiful?", Randy asked while sipping his drink and popping some toffees in his mouth. "That's a pretty bad combination Rats?", I smirked while pointing my finger at the coffee flavored toffee and orange juice.

 "What! I like trying out new things, you know that meow", he smirked "Don't call me that, I have only given you the permission of calling me Kat, that's it", I ordered him while making faces at his choice of flavor mixing.

"You are my best friend meow, I can call you whatever I want and you are going to accept it" he smirked,

 Did he just ordered me, his eyes were shining mischievously, I am going to show him who is the boss around here,

I jumped on the bed and started to fight with him, he was fast, he dodged my every move, I blocked his moves, he blocked mine, I hit him with a pillow and laughed he picked the other pillow and threw it at me, I caught it,

 I was about to hit him very hard but he caught it in his hands and pulled me closer, pushed me down and sat on me and started to tickle,

"Oh! No Rats stop, not this bloody weapon, I give up", I was laughing so hard, but he was not in a mood for mercy, my stomach was in pain,

" stop! I can't breathe, first say who is the boss",

"you are, you are, let go", he stopped and started laughing. " I won, now meow can I get a kiss", he was so close to my face, his breath fanned against my skin.

 "No way Rats, you are not getting lucky", I pushed him off me, he fell on the bed.

"Ouch! You almost broke my ego", silence, we burst out laughing and I fixed myself in his right arm. "So are you and Cody cool", he asked his voice was firm,

 "Yeah, of course, he messaged me a joke a few minutes ago, we are cool", I answered while playing with his shirt button. He smiled, his fingers surfed the waves of my hair,

he loves touching my hair, I don't mind when Randy touches me, he likes cuddling and I too but he has never tried something creepy unless he is trying to piss me off.

"Are you going out with Hazel", I asked, he was confused, I think he forgot, my weird Rats. "Um, I actually forgot", he chuckled. I rolled my eyes, I thought so.

Karly came barging in like she owns the place,

"Hey! Don't you know how to knock?" I retorted. "It's not like I will see some action between you too", she retorted, her voice was laced with wittiness, I rolled my eyes.

"Um, I needed a dress Kat," she asked while eyeing my Navy blue backless dress, I glared at her but she didn't saw me glaring.

 Randy was amused. "oh no! don't even think about it", I jumped from my bed and grabbed the dresses.

"But, but I need your help, please I do so much for you and you can't even give me a single dress", She showed her puppy dog eyes, oh no! she is blackmailing me with her beauty,

we both look same, black hair, the same physique, the only difference is our hair texture mine are straight and Karly has curly hair.

 I huffed, "Fine only because you are my favorite sister", she squealed and was about to grab the dress when I pulled the dresses away from her reach and smirked,

"First tell me the details darling who are you going out with", she was alert all of a sudden,

"Um, I am going with Sherlock", she was playing with her fingers and was avoiding my eyes. I knew she was lying,

 I looked towards Randy who was staring at her and motioned me to ask more, he also knew she was lying. We are quite good at finding out if a person is lying or not.

We have been doing this our entire life. "spill it or lose the dress", she jumped,

" Oh Kat please don't make me say his name, you won't like it if I tell you", she said in a feared tone.

 " Say it or we have different ways to find out", she groaned, "It is...",

"say it",

"It is a...",

"Karly!",

 "It is Cody", silence took over my surroundings, something within me fell, don't know what it was but when it fell, something aching traveled through my veins,

"What!!!", I screamed in anger, I wanted to kill her.

"I am sorry but I asked him if he wanted to watch a movie someday, he smiled", she was smiling crazily stopped when she saw me glaring.

"He said sure and said it's a date, winked", I was furious, how could she. I know I ended everything but I won't bear to see him with my sister.

 I was hurt, I felt betrayed, she was standing there with an innocent face, Randy was standing beside me quietly, 

"Just go, take the dress", I placed it on the sofa and sat on my bed, I couldn't lift my face up, I felt like hurt but why?

She tried to say something, but Randy stopped her, gave her a nod and she picked up the dress, she was gone.

Randy closed the door after her and sat right next to me. He opened his arms and I moved in his comfort. "Talk to me Kat", "No".

 "I can help you ---", "No! you can't", "try me", I looked up at his face, my vision started to blur, I hugged him tightly and cried until there were no tears left to spill,

 I ruined his shirt, but he didn't mind it at all, he is just amazing, he was always there when I needed him the most, he knows all my deepest darkest secrets, my embarrassing moments. He handles my bitch mode, my mood swings, my wild side like a pro and he never complains.

" What happened to the love he talked about? How can a person move on so fast in just two days", I asked.

"Kat, he will date someone sooner or later", he answered.

"What about Karly, she knows everything about me and Cody and still she asked him for a movie",

"Well, Kat, she was staying away from him only because he was yours but when you ended everything with him she thought she had a chance",

 "But why him, she could date someone else, why my ex",

"Don't you think it will be better if they date each other both are your family and they would never make you jealous, they will always care for your feelings",

"I don't need their sympathyif they want to date fine, who gives a damn!" I stood up and started pacing in the room, nobody can just throw me off like that, I don't need them,

" I will find someone, who will die for me and loves me like there is no tomorrow, we will be like soulmates, connected to each other", I said, my voice was laced with determination.

" I hope you find someone", he said in a whisper, I turned around to see him, he was sitting on my bed with a faint smile,

"What's wrong?" I asked him, he shifted his feet and said, "Nothing", his smile was back, but I knew he was hiding something, I didn't push.

He will tell me like he always does, we don't keep secrets, don't know how long will I keep this deal going, I already have a secret that he is unaware of, looks like the deal is off,

I have broken the rule of our friendship but one secret doesn't matter, right?
