Randy's POV:

I opened my eyes slowly and I realized I was in heaven, you may ask why?

cause I was in the arms of my Kat, yes! I am a best friend to tell you the truth I am in love with her and she doesn't have a slightest clue,

I know she has just friend zoned me completely and I wish I had said something about it but for her happiness, I can sacrifice anything even my life, it hurts me when she acts strong and tries to fight until she breaks down,

I love her so much, wish she would care for herself as well,

I caressed her head, the smell of her hair, damn makes my mind go crazy, I would do anything for her, she would too, I remember when I was in my basketball team and I was injured,

when she found out, she left her class, and even after coach's efforts to stop her, she by her full power stepped in the boy's locker room, the room when silent, I was sitting on a bench,

I saw her in tears and those tears were for me, one boy said girls are not allowed and she pushed him against the locker and said "Never come between me and Rats", poor boy almost lost it,

thanks to Edgar who pulled her away, nobody dares to touch her, nobody is allowed to, only her family, even Edgar was scared but she calmly erased his hands and rushed to me, she was so sad, she had her guard on, which screamed don't touch me, until she fixes me up and is satisfied with my result.

I was on fire huh, I chuckled at that, I am crazy for her, all girls and boys envy our friendship, what can I say we just clicked when we first met, I reminisced back to the time,

"Hey, who are you?", I asked when I was 5, she was shy,

"I am Katrina, you can call me Kat", she smiled her eyes glimmered in the sunlight of our back garden,

I was awestruck at that very moment, and I decided this was the girl I wanna be friends with, "Cute name can I be your Rats?" I said childishly, she clapped her hands,

I was smiling when she moved, "Randy you are awake, why didn't you wake  me up?",

she said while rubbing her eyes, I moved her hair strand from her face, perfect timing, thank you, Giselle, I laughed inwardly,

"You were sleeping and it's not nice to disturb someone's slumber of peace", I said smoothly, she eyed me with a smirk, I looked at her lips, those lips but I controlled myself, and removed my gaze,

"Good morning Rats", she said she was still in my embrace. "Good morning Kat",

" I wish I was your best friend", we both looked towards the door, I saw Edgar smirking,

"Edgar, can't you knock" I yelled I was completely pissed, what the hell happened to privacy? I glared but he was unaffected,

freak, "Hey Edgar how are you?", she said calmly as she sat up, getting away from my embrace,

I was sad, her shirt was a little out of place, I perfected it back to its place, which is where her back ends, she doesn't mind it, when I do such things, she just smiled and smoothened it further,

"I am fine your highness, I just missed my brother slash friend too much, can I borrow him till breakfast", he leaned as in bowing, I shook my head, she laughed,

"Oh Edgar you are too funny, yes you can borrow him but bring him back he is mine", she said to him and winked my way,

when she said that I almost tripped out of bed, I was getting out but my leg got stuck in something and Bam!, I moaned in pain, I fell right on my face,
