Chapter 14 – Guide Me

The Chimera form of Fraus immediately rushed towards Seiryu and the latter tried to defend the incoming impact of her spear towards him.

“Urgh!” he shouted as he tried to defend the attack, but to his surprise the spear wasn’t intende to impale him. Fraus’s brute strength now showed as she threw Seiryu agains the wall with only the hilt of her spear.

Seiryu flew to the wall and when it had made impact with him, it stunned him for just quite a bit.

“Darn it…” he said as he tried to get up.

Melfice on the other hand rushed towards the Chimera as he fused his blades into one once more. He held his gunblade in such a manner that he was going to execute a wide horizontal slash. Flames raged around the blade of his weapon as he drew closer to his target.

“Form 4, Efreeta’s Blasting Zone!” he shouted as he executed a wide horizontal slash. His blade size grew ten-fold as the flames began to form the extension part of his blade.

Fraus just stood there and stretched out her gauntlet which held her spear. Immediately she defended the incoming flame attack and in an instant her weapon’s grey spirit energy ate up the red flames of Melfice’s blade.

“What the?!” he shouted as he tried another attack, but then Fraus already appeared right in front of him at that time.

“Stop wasting my time.” The Chimera Sentis said as her distorted voice rung in his ears. She hit him with one of her gauntlets right across his abdomen area and this had sent him flying as well.

While in mid air as Melfice’s body flew, Fraus caught up with it and stared on the other side as she waited. As his body drew close, she then hit it with another solid shot from her gauntlets once more. This had sent again his body flying to the other side of the hall this time.

Finally when Melfice made impact against the wall behind him, Fraus appeared in front of him and she charged up grey flames in one of her gauntlets.

“Phantom Flames.” she said as a blast of grey flames had exploded upon Melfice. His body fell to the ground soon after the maneuver.

“Elle…no…” Yue said as she charged up darkness energy around her.

“That’s right.” Her monstrous sinister voice said as she stood over Melfice’s body. “Be afraid.” She said as she began to walk slowly towards the azure haired girl. Her spear appeared right in her right gauntlet.

Her helmet retracted and it revealed her face which was now pale in color. Her eyes were grey and dull in color and her hair now was fully platinum in color as well. Grey fires surged around her chimera body as she now found herself in the upper hand of this battle.

“Are you really going to kill us?” Yue said to her as her darkness now surrounded her hands.

“It has to be done.” She replied to her. “I have to do it…” she added as she continued to walk onwards the azure haired student.

Yue stood her ground and immediately, Fraus rushed at her with a speed greater than the gods.

“Darn!” she shouted.

“Die!” she shouted as she appeared right in mid air. Her spear was in a thrusting stance, as she sped towards the azure haired student below her.

As she was about to make impact with the student, a familiar blade clashed with her spirit spear. It turns out that Seiryu had already anticipated her attack from his downed state.
