broken serenity

she sat on her bed as the thunders gave premature warnings of a storm.

the roads were busy, but the sky had made the situation so pretty, inside out.

her bedroom was filled with the perfect lighting -- not bright, but almost dark.

the cold air gave pecks on her skin, as they stayed almost stagnant in her room.

it was so calm, so beautiful. only purity in the air.

though she knew, that this moment would be transient, and she tried her best to salvage every second of it. she knew, that the stabs of loneliness would still be there to break her apart -- slowly and subtly.
she knew, that the bedroom walls were only painted of pink and purple, just so she could persuade them to give their colours to her empty heart.
