the track that i installed about a month ago reminded me of the time we first talked
the first time you called me sweet and nice.

i used to love that song so much, until i didn't seem interesting to you anymore.

those were the tracks that brimmed my mind with thoughts about you; your smile, your voice, your eyes.

those were the tracks that i'd always put on repeat so i could treasure every memory of you;

the tracks that comforted me whenever i had absolutely no one to go to.

i was happy when i listened to those songs
but now
it hurts my chest to even look at the song title;

buried,

left untouched
in the playlist.
