A couple of months went by and you felt yourself slowly start to fall in love with Natalie. It was bumpy at first but she was able to talk to others in the mansion and not freak out by their appearances. "So, why doesn't (y/n) ever show her color bone or chest? I mean, everyone wears outfits that show skin and she's always wearing turtlenecks or sweatshirts." Natalie's question was directed at Jeff and he began to laugh.
"I never would have guessed that you were into chests." He placed his hands behind his head, his elbows sticking out to the sides. "I mean, it's a weird fetish, but if you really want to know-"
"I'm right here. Why not ask me?" You place the book you were reading on the coffee table and look at the two of them watching tv.
"I thought you were reading." She blushes slightly.
"I was, but I couldn't help but hear that my chest was a major topic in this mansion."
"C'mon, (y/n), she's been with us for two months. Why not let her in on the little secret?" Jack asked and sat down next to you with a bowl of hard candies. You sigh and start to take off your jacket.
"No, not here. Jeez, just take her to your room or something. I'm trying to watch something here, and your chest is going to distract me." You roll your eyes and tug your jacket back down.
"I'm wearing a tank top underneath."
"It's still distracting." He retorted.
"Fine." You get up and start walking up to your room. When you don't hear her get up, you turn around to look at her. "Aren't you coming?" She blushed once more before following you into your room. "Can you close the door please?" She does and you take your jacket off to reveal the black tank top you're wearing. She stared at where your heart was supposed to be and looked as if she wanted to touch it.
"It's glass." She whispered, clearly admiring it.
"I have a piece of my heart left. It's not much but it's enough to help me feel certain emotions. Do you want to touch it?" You ask and she slowly moves her hand to touch your heart, but then stops. You could feel the warmth of her hand as it hovered over your heart. You clear your throat awkwardly and look away. "It... won't kill me. The others made sure of that." Then she touched it, and you swallowed hard. You had never let anyone touch you like this. To feel someone's hand on you made you feel uncomfortable, but you knew she wouldn't hurt you.
"It's still beating." Pure admiration came from her voice and you looked at her. She was mesmerized by your little flaw and it made your heart beat faster. "It's beating faster." She looks up at you and smiles, her face fairly close to yours. You two stare at each other for seems like hours but is probably minutes. "You have stunning eyes." She compliments and you can't find anything to say. Don't look at her lips. Whatever you do don't look at her lips. Ok, maybe just a peek... No! I must stare into her eyes. But I have to blink sometime. Ok, what about now? No, wait three more seconds. 3... 2... 1... ok now you can blink... and you looked at her lips. Why am I like this?
"I- um, I like your lips." You say out loud then realized a moment later what you had said. You immediately pull away from her touch. "I didn't mean that. Well, I did, but not that way." You put your jacket back on and turn around. "Forget it. I'm gonna go-" You reach for the doorknob but she grabs your hand.
"Don't go." She pleads.
"I should go back to home."
"I thought this was your home?"
"It is. But my father is expecting me"
"Your father's expecting you? Really? What about my dad? He's probably going to beat me when I get home because I keep hanging out with you instead of doing chores for him!" She voices loudly.
"Why are you so angry all of a sudden?"
"Because you think you have to go back because something bad will happen. But I KNOW something bad WILL happen to me when I go back!" You knew where she was coming from but you weren't about to have it right now or any other time. Every single day for the past month, you had to walk her home with Jeff and watch how her father treated her like trash. It killed you to watch but you had to be the one there for her when she finally executes her father.
"Oh, boo hoo for you. You know this" You open your arms up, palms facing towards the ceiling, "Isn't your family, princess! I don't know how many times, I've had to walk your sorry ass home to him just to have him beat you that same night! You think I'm not around when he's beating you! I've never had an urge to kill someone before I met him, and now, you have your chance to become one of us but you won't take it. And why not? Because you're a scaredy-cat." You press your finger into her chest. "Because you're weak." You leave the room just as her first tear fell to the ground.
"If that didn't send her over the edge, I don't think anything else will."
"Not now, Jeff. Walk her home, instead of me." You turn around to him. "That's not a request."
(Ultra-Mega Time Skip)
You got out of the car and looked at your new home. "You just had to pick the house near the forest, didn't you?" You smile at your dad as he grabs his suitcase out of the car.
"Not my fault that my daughter loves to explore or that she's a creepypasta." He kisses your temple and heads on the inside.
"Psst, (y/n)." You hear a familiar voice from the forest.
"Natalie?" You turn towards the voice and walk into the woods.
"I'm right here." She pokes your arm and you turn towards her. She looked different. It was definitely the eyes. No, one eye. It was-
"A clock! Why a clock?" You were completely befuddled.
"Really? That's the first thing you ask when you see me?" She folds her arms over her chest and rolls her eyes. "It's to remind me of the time I wasn't weak." Was her response and you chuckled.
"You planned that out, didn't you? Honestly, it's kind of brilliant. I mean, if I were to kill someone I can't be like 'It's because I don't have a heart' because I have a part of one and it wouldn't... work... out." You trail off awkwardly. "Anyway, doesn't that mean you, you know, did the thing?" She smiled and nodded.
"Yup. I did. And I've never felt better."
"Well, that's great. I'm proud of you." You smile back at her and she bites her lip before saying,
"Is that the only emotion you feel for me?" Oh... crap... Your smile fades and you let out a weird, fake laugh.
"Is this about the romantic moment I completely screwed up last week? Because if it is, I didn't mean to just walk out like that. My heart did a weird skip a beat thing and I froze."
"Skip a beat?"
"And a romantic moment... Yeah, I'm sure I said two cheesy things in those sentences."
"I never would have thought you were the one to be awkward with feelings."
"It's just that I've never had them before. And I never would have guessed you would be the one to be more open or, you know, in command." She tucks her hair behind her ear and blushes.
"Sorry, I just want to seem stronger than I am. I'm honestly not used to this."
"Neither am I. I guess you can say that we can figure it out together?" She raises an eyebrow at you and smirks. "That was sappy too wasn't it?"
[If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them. This was made this a long time ago and I have no idea how I wanted the story to go. I had also taken this down after one comment that I THOUGHT was a bad review. But after a long time of consideration, I'm leaving everything up that I post because it's fun to make and I'm glad I can share it with others.]

Random One Shots
ФанфикшнThe title pretty much sums it up. Most of the one shots will be the reader (you) and a character either from a game, TV show, movie, anime, book character, etc. I do NOT own the characters, the characters photos or you... that would be weird. Also...
