The Search for Lincoln

It was 5:30 in the morning and everyone bolted out of bed did their usual morning routine and ran to the van "I can't believe we are Literally doing this!" Lori said putting the keys in the ignition. Everyone was half asleep but Luan was determined "Me too I can't wait to see Lincoln again!" Luan said excitedly. Once the car rolled out of the driveway Luan was dancing in her seat Lori couldn't believe that she was this excited this early in the morning. "Lynn Lynn we're moving!" Luan said shaking her younger sister "Luan I will smack you so hard!" Lynn said grumpy "I'll keep quiet now" Luan said looking at the sky it was dark outside but still beautiful. "So did the police give any other information on where Lincoln is?" Lori said "All I know is that he's in Old Mills which is pretty far from here but overall I don't know" "ok then we are gonna go to the police station and ask for some more information" "ok"Luan said all she could think about was her brother and the day he came home from the hospital and looked at her in the eyes and that was the start of a beautiful sibling relationship. "Lori?" Luan asked "Yeah?" Luan took a deep breath and looked at her sister in the driver's mirror "How bad do you want Lincoln back?" Lori chuckled and smiled "More than anything I miss him so much that I can't function without him he's helped us with lots of things like teaching Leni to drive, help me get a job, trained Lana for the beauty pageant he's done so many things to us and we couldn't thank him any other way!" She smiled looking at the road "Lori what if Lincoln wants to stay with him new family?" Lori pulled over to the side of the road "Luan listen to me we WILL get Lincoln back no matter what, even if we have to take drastic measures to get him back we are the Loud's we never give up no matter what challenges we have to go through do you understand miss Loud?" Luan smiled and laughed a bit "Yes Yes I do". Lori was happy too especially to see Luan laugh she hasn't laughed since the day Lincoln went missing. She was also glad that her and Luan were speaking again after the whole video chat thing. "I love you Lori!" She heard Luan say with a smile on her face " I love you too Luan!" The rest of the car ride was silent but a good kind of silence for once the car ride was actually quiet. They eventually made it to the police station and Lori ran up to the front desk "Hey It's Lori Loud do you have any updates on my brother Lincoln?" The chief at the desk nodded and walked over to the papers "Yes we do actually. you already know that he's in Old Mills,". "Get to the Point!" Lori said with rolled eyes it was 6:00 in the morning and she wasn't up for silliness. "BUT he's with rich people named Ted and Jane" Lori stood there confused "how'd you know all this?" The Chief laughed "Well during his quest to find his family, I told him where those people are so now he lives with them" Lori looked at him furiously "WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU? YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BRING LINCOLN BACK TO HIS ORIGINAL FAMILY NOT US WHEN YOU SAW HIM YOU SHOULDA BROUGHT HIM HOME AND INSTEAD YOU SUPPORT HIM ON THIS?" The Chief felt so bad he had no idea what he's doing "Look Lori I'm sorry I-" Lori ran out the door crying and ran into the car sobbing like crazy "Lori are you ok?" Leni asked Lori grabbed a tissue from her pocket "It's just I'm so mad at the police chief because apparently he supported Lincoln into going to some rich people" Lola got out of the van with a purse in her hands "Lola what are you doing?" Lori asked. Lola walked into the station and ran right to the chief who was doing some work "Hey Bub!" The man looked down at her "What do you want pageant queen?"  Lola gave him a death stare "No one talks to my sister like that except for me!" She said swinging her purse at the chief and grabbed Lincoln's papers and ran out of the building "Look what I got!" Lola said climbing back into the van "Papers?" Lana said. Lola let out a laugh "no just any papers, LINCOLN'S papers!" Everyone cheered "ok let's see where our little brother is" Lori said looking through the papers "ok so his address is 500 dollar sign street what a surprise" she said "well that's a name" Lynn said "Does it matter we're getting Lincoln back" Lori said starting up the car "Lincoln here we come!" Luan said. Luna has heard what her sisters were talking about but she was mainly focused on something she's writing for her brother it's about their relationship together and how she's always been there for him and how it will never change she couldn't wait to show her brother the his sister wrote for him.
