even under the
midnight flashing
of city lights, I
could still see
your eyes shining
brighter than a
full moon in an
obscure night.
you were a
lost boy amidst
the chaos of this
dark abyss, you
had wounds that
refused to stop
bleeding, and
scars that crawled
at your beautiful
pale skin.
and though, every
time I touched you,
I could sense your
bones quivering
under the many
thick layers of raw
flesh, your dreams
always aligned
against the sky in
the most perfect
shape, like clusters
of stars.
the fire that
burned from
within you, turned
everything to
grey ash, and I
stood there while
the ground
trembled
under my feet.
I could feel.
everything
coming to an
end, but I didn't
mind, for I was
trapped in
those sparkling
orbs for eternity.
