In the short time I've been alive I've learned two things:
The first, love is a thing that should be treasured and held close
The second, don't love, or you will be hurt, and will hurt the ones you love as well
It may seem a little contradictory, but if you are going to love, you hold it close and lock it away. Lock it away in a fortress so strong and so frightening, not even you would dare tear down its walls.
Because to love is to destroy... and I don't want to be a monster anymore.
