Hermione blushed and smiled widely whilst Draco sat there in a daze ,until he recovered and began to smirk . 

"seriously?" she asked still shocked at his response 

"yep , you?"he replied eaqually as shocked 

"yes , of course , i mean how couldn't it be you?" she stated softly 

"what's that supposed to mean?"he asked confused once again 

"well you're strong , sweet , sensitive, you want a family life , you lied to the dark lord to protect your family and never had any evil intention to kill or torture anybody "she replied softly , giving his hand a small squeeze in reasurance 

"yeah but you said you've liked me for a while right?"she nodded"well how did you know all of this stuff about me then if i was so mean to you ?"

"oh well that's simpled , you being strong , was your ability to put on an act so that either no one would care or no one would have to worry , you being sweet ,  i saw how you used to let Pansy down gently and how she used to cry and you gave her a hug in a friendly way , and before you ask i knew about that because you used to do it in the library and dont forget that was my second home at Hogwarts "she answered his unspoken question smiling before she carried on :"and that you want a family life , i didnt know that then but , you know the list can always be edited , added to and parts taken away so.. , about you lying to the dark lord , when you were given the task to kill dumbledore , harry was bellow , he saw it all and told me after how much he could tell you didnt want to do it , and he heard when you said that you have to kill him otherwise he would kill you , which inturn meant punishment for your family , i know the ways the dark lord works , i was hunting him for years with harry so i know what you meant even if the lightning and ginger prick didnt "this made Draco chuckle softly with the insult she gabe her two best friends "and well i knew you didnt have any evil intention to harm anyone when i saw the pain in your eyes when i was tortured i could see right down to your soul and everyhting you didnt want to happen and yet i could never fit together why you didnt want me to be tortured the most , well until now " she replied before she shuffled her chair over so that she was sitting next to him 

"well now you know "he stated softly 

"yes i do " she replied sweetly

"hey , save the i do's till the wedding day ", he joked 

"i make sure to do that " she smiled widely 

"i love you Hermione Granger " he said softly 

" i love you too Draco Malfoy " she replied 

"wow you have no idea how long ive been waiting to hear you say that"he said softly 

" i think i do " she replied before she captured his lips with her own in a soft embrace 

when they pulled apart slowly they smiled widely and rested their forheads against one anothers . 

" i'm glad that you were chosen to be my wife " Draco said quietly 

"Ditto" she replied before she pecked her lips against his again and pulled away . 

She moved her chair an inch away from his so to hopefully not seem out of place when the waiter returned with their wine and food . 

As expected the waiter arrived two minutes later with the food and wine , Draco tipped him and paid the check so that they could leave as soon as they were done . 

They both enjoyed the meal greatly and had no desert which Hermione had to question . 

"why no desert ? i thaught you said we'd be having some today " she asked confused 

"yes i did say that , and it is true , we are having desert today but we're having it in our new home , where we're going to make it ourselves , i thaught this would be a good opportunity to show you our new house " he replied smiling 

"are you telling me that we have a house already and we're going there straight after the dinner?" she asked trying to make sense of his response 

"yes , yes i am and if you wish it we could stay there the night , to try it out of course , we can't have anywhere where we will not be comfortable can we ?" he asked sweetly 

" no of course not " she replied finishing her meal . 

" okay i'm done , are you ready to go?" he asked after a couple of minutes 

"i'm ready "she stated as she stood and took the hand offered to her . 

He led her out of the restaurant , down an alley and then to a carriage on the other side of the road . 

"it's quite a long walk , so i thaught i'd dive you  the option , a moonlight walk or a quiet carriage ride where noone can disturb us ?" he asked softly 

"hmm lets see .... i choose ...... carriage ride " she finally decided after a moments thaught . 

"okay"and with that he took her hand gently and helped her into the carriage . 

"thank you " she stated gratefully as he entered the carriage himself . 

"you're welcome" he said sitting down next to her . 

He held her hand in his own and smiled widely as she lay her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes in a blissful musing of the past two days . 

"i love you Draco"she whispered sweetly

" i love you too 'mione " he replied kissing the top of her head lightly . 

She leaned further into him feeling the warmth of his body against her own . 

The carriage then pulled outside of a house , it was very large and it was in the country side , which was the perfect place for Hermione to live and be happy with Draco and a family , it was perfect.
