Just A Kiss On Your Lips

Part 1

Caitlin's POV

It has been a stressful day. There is a new meta human that goes by the name of Hannibal Bates. He can transform into anyone just by touching them. It's actually kinda cool...except for the fact that if Barry gets too close to him, he could easily steal his identity. Barry left to go check on something at his house so I started to get everything for the serum that can stop Hannibal Bates from transforming.

"Hey Cisco is Barry back yet? He said he was just going to check on something at home" I asked Cisco, he was the next room working on something.

"No. Why? Do you miss him?" Cisco asks teasingly

Cisco heard all about what happened between Barry and I during karaoke night. He has been teasing me about it ever since. So I got drunk and sang on stage, and maybe I started stripping in front of Barry...big deal. Ever since that night I've had feelings for him, but it doesn't matter, he likes Iris.

"No Cisco, he is supposed to be helping me with the serum" I said in a similar teasing voice

After a few calls I began to get worried. It's strange for him to not answer his phone especially when it's something as important as this. He probably just forgot. I guess I better go and check on him, so i quickly got in my car and drove over to his house. When I got there I see the door is partly open. Weird.

"Barry?" I asked walking through his doorway

I looked around to see the house is seemingly empty. I began to hear footsteps coming down upstairs. I eventually see Barry come walk down the stairs

"Barry thank goodness I thought something might have happened to you" I tell him starting to laugh at my assumption, he looks at me with a confused look

"Well I'm fine. What's up?" He asks

"Well you said you would help me with the serum to trap Hannibal Bates"

"Oh yeah? let's go" He says walking out to my car

Why is he getting in my car, he usually runs to to S.T.A.R labs? We eventually got to S.T.A.R labs to see a note waiting for me on the computer

"Caitlin, I had to go to the police station to get something from Joe. I will be back soon" I read out loud, I wonder what Cisco needed?

I turned around to see Barry touching random things and looking very confused. He acts as though this is his first time being here?

"Barry are you okay?" I ask a bit worried

"Yeah I'm fine Caitlin"

"Okay then let's get started" I tell him as we both walked into my lab

Barry and I started working on the serum to catch Hannibal Bates. Barry has been acting strange ever since we left his house, I don't know what's going on with him....it's like he is a completely different person. As I was mixing in some of the materials I felt someone staring at me, I looked over my shoulder to see Barry staring me up and down, I couldn't help but feel myself starting to blush. Why was he looking at me like that?

"Barry are you okay? You are acting a bit weird" I asked turning around

"No...actually I want to do something...something I should have done a long time ago" Barry says as he pulls me closer to him.

I didn't understand why, but I enjoyed being this close to him. He leaned down to kiss me, at first I didn't know what to do. I felt his lips collide with mine and I started to kiss back. Just then it hits me...I am kissing Barry Allen!

"Barry...Why?" I ask stopping him

But I can see the look in his eye. I could see something different than I usually do. He wanted more and so did I. I instantly pulled his collar closer and we started kissing once again. Our kiss was becoming more heated as I felt his tongue graze over my bottom lip, I put my arms around his neck and he pulled my waist closer to him. There was no space between us as he started moving his hands up my shirt. I heard the moans coming from his mouth we leaned against the table top. His lips suddenly moved to my neck and he began sucking on the spot right below my ear. I have never felt like this before, but we then got interrupted.

"Am I interrupting something?" Cisco asks suddenly with a huge smile on his face

"No...no....We were just...working on the serum" I start to stutter as my face becomes hot

"Working? That's what your calling it. Okay well Joe sent me something that I think you guys want to see, It's the video of Eddie attacking this robbers. But I can leave if you guys want to keep working" Cisco asks as he crosses his arms

"No. We can see the video" Barry says walking past me and into the cortex

"Caitlin what are you doing" Cisco asks laughing

"He started kissing me first and I just happened to kiss back" I explain to him

"wait...do you like Barry?"

"No. Absolutely not. He is just a friend nothing more" I say in all serious, of course I was lying but I didn't want any teasing from Cisco about my crush

"He clearly likes you"

"It was just the heat of the moment. That's it. Don't you dare tell anyone" I threatened walking into the cortex with Barry

Cisco soon follows and walks over to the computer and begins pulling up the video. Barry and I stood around him and we heard a wheelchair coming up from behind us.

"Okay Cisco lets see the video" Wells says as Cisco plays the video

It's so obvious what the problem is. I look at their faces and I could tell they didn't see it. Boys are so unobservant.

"I see nothing that proves that isn't him" Cisco says confused

"Except that" I say pointing to Eddie on the screen

"What?" Barry asks

"Eddie isn't left handed yet he is using his left hand when he is shooting the gun. That proves it's not him" I tell them

"Your right....Hey Barry catch" Wells says throwing a pen to him. He catches it successfully. What was Dr. Well doing?

I then see Dr. Wells bring out a stun gun and shoot Barry causing him to fall on the ground

"Why did you do that!?" I yelled quickly running over to Barry's side

"Caitlin you were right. This isn't Barry. He caught the pen with his left hand, our Barry catches things with his right hand" Wells tells me

"Dammit!"

"Then where is Barry, Where was he before you came to the lab?" Cisco asks me

I quickly grabbed my bag and rushed out of S.T.A.R labs and over to his house. It just hit me, I made out with Hannibal Bates. Damn it.
