Part 3

The Next day...

Caitlin's POV

I'm so excited for my date with Barry. I can't believe we're going out....and that kiss, it was probably the best kiss I've ever had. We decided not to tell anyone. but i think that makes it better. It will just be Barry and I against the world. Before heading out for work i decided to pick out what I'm going to wear tonight. I chose a simple yet elegant black dress, i quickly set it on my bed and headed for S.T.A.R labs.

S.T.A.R labs...

I walked in to see Cisco working on some things for Barry's suit.

"Hey Cisco, How was your trip yesterday or whatever you were doing?"

"Fine. How was everything here?" Cisco asks

"Everything was perfect" I tell him thinking about what happened yesterday

"You okay? You seem happy?" He asks confused

"Caitlin?"

"I'm fine, I just...."I started to say but a certain speedster interrupted

"Hey guys" Barry says walking in

"Hi Barry" I said causing him to look at me

"Hey Cait" He responds as he is staring into my eyes

"What's with you two?" Cisco asks taking his attention away from Barry's suit and onto us

"Nothing....Um i just came to check on you guys" Barry says quickly

"That's good" I said taking my attention off of him

"Okay? Why are you two acting so weird?" Cisco asks once again

"We're not" Barry and I both say

"Sure" Cisco says turning back around

"Well i got to go....Call me if you need anything" Barry finally says giving me one last wink before heading out

Barry's POV

I ran over to the police station and quickly got to work on some cases the captain has been bugging me about. Of course i get it done in half the time...Thank you super speed.

A few hours later...

I looked at the time and i saw that my date was in 2 hours. I quickly ran home to get ready. I decide on a simple black suit that would go perfectly at dinner. I could feel my face getting warmer as i thought about her.

"Why are you blushing?" Iris asks taking me out of my thoughts

I turned around to see she is waiting at my door.

"No reason" I said quickly walking into my bathroom and getting dressed, i walked out and she was still there waiting for me

"So...Why are you dressed so fancy like? Do you have a date?" She asks once again but this time i can see she is a bit more serious

"You don't need to worry Iris, I have to get going" I tell her as i look at my phone to see i have about an half an hour, I know i could easily run to Caitlin's house and get there in half the time but i felt like driving

I got in Joe's car and drove over to Caitlin house. Just my luck i remembered it from the last time i was here. When i got there i quickly knocked on the door making sure I'm on time. I saw the door open to reveal Caitlin who is wearing a beautiful black dress.

"Cait you look amazing"

"Thank you Barry, you look amazing as well. And is that a car i see? I didn't think you drove" She says as she turns around to lock her door
