Part 18

Caitlin's pov

"Anything?" Barry asks nervously as he is pacing around the room

"Nothing yet, it sems like this new speedster just fell off the map" Cisco explains

"We just have to wait until he turns up again, i can stay here for the night and watch the monitors" I tell them

"No, i can do it you should go home. You have Felicity staying over. Plus what if something happens to you" Barry tries arguing

"Barry she will be fine without me" Felicity assures him but i can tell he is not convinced.

I don't know why is he is worried i will be fine. I know he doesn't want me to be alone but still.

"I will Barry. And if you are so worried you can just stay here also" Felicity says

"I agree it would be better if you both will stay. Okay?" Cisco asks

"Fine" Barry says agreeing happily

After a while Felicity and Cisco both walk out, Leaving me and Barry alone for the night. I look over to Barry to see he is a bit upset.

"Barry what's wrong?" I ask looking away from my computer and bringing my attention to him

"Nothing. I am just worried about you"

"You don't need to be, i can take care of myself. But i appreciate that you are always there for me" i say walking over to him pulling him into a hug

"I know i just love you so much" he says wrapping his arms around my waist tighter

"I love you to" i tell him kissing him quickly

"Hey you know what? We are alone for the whole night" he says excitedly

"Yeah?"

"I wonder what we are gonna do" he says in an obvious voice, clearly hinting at something.

He starts leaning in for another kiss but i remember we also have a job to do.

"Later right now we have to watch the monitors" I say giving him one last kiss before heading back over to the computers

"You are such a buzzkill sometimes" Barry says coming over to sit next to me

A few hours later...

Barrys pov

"Caitlin this is really boring. We have been sitting here for hours and this speedster has not shown up. Can we leave?"

"Stop complaining i thought you would want to spend the whole night with me...alone" she whispers

"I do. I absolutely want to spend time with you but we need to do something. How about i go get us some food then we can do something else afterwords" I suggest

"Fine"

I quickly run to Big Belly Burger and grab some food before heading back to S.T.A.R labs. As i am walking down the hall i hear a dark voice yelling in the cortex.

"Where is the flash!" The voice yells

"I don't know" I hear Caitlin voice respond, i can tell she is scared

I quickly run in and put on my suit before approching the mystery man dressed in a sinilar suit as mine, the only difference is it was black with a mask covering his whole face.

"Hey! Leave the girl alone" I yellgetting his attention

"This is the flash? Not so impressive"

"Who are you?" I ask as the speedster starts walking towards me
