Daring was taking a walk in the garden. He was having a nice and peaceful time until he heard a faint scream in the distance.
"Ahhhhh!" A girl yelled.
Darings instincts told him to go look for the girl, but as soon as he found her he frowned. It was Apple White.
"Oh, finally you came. Look, we need to talk." Apple explained.
"Wait, you screamed just to get my attention?" Daring asked.
"Yes! Now follow me." Apple said promptly as she dragged along Daring.
She took him to a quite spot in the garden.
"So, how are things with you and Rosabella?" Apple asked with a fake smile.
Daring smiled back. "Great! We're just best friends."
"Great, just great." Apple mumbled under her breath.
"Apple, do you still like me? You can be honest." Daring just wanted the truth.
"No! I'm dating...Humphrey!" Apple replied. She really wasn't, but she had to make Daring believe her.
"That's great! I have to go meet Rosabella at the library. It was great talking to you!" Daring said as he waved goodbye.
"Library date, huh." Apple thought to herself. " " I wonder what could go wrong?"
