Nicole woke up and saw Sodapop was gone. He was at work and she knew after work was the moment he was going to ask Sandy to marry him.

Darry- Hey kid you awake?

Nicole- Um yeah I'm just thinking.

Darry- Thinking about today?

Nicole- Sadly yeah I am.

Darry- I know kid how much you love my kid brother and if you need to cry. Cry let it all out.

Nicole- Thanks Darry but I probably went start crying until tonight.

Darry- No problem. I'm off to work, Ponyboy still asleep and Dally and Johnny are asleep on the couch.

Nicole- Alright see you later.

Nicole got up cleaned the room and went to the restroom showered got dressed and brushed her teeth. She heard noise which means Two-Bit is here and Ponyboy, Johnny and Dally are awake.

Nicole- Morning.

Ponyboy- Morning.

Two-Bit- Moring Minnie what's new?

Dally- I'll tell you what's new. Sodapop going to ask that little broad for her hand tonight isn't he?

Nicole- Yeah, he is.

Johnny- It's okay Nikki we are here for you and we will help you with whatever.

Nicole went up to Johnny and hugged him. Nicole loved Johnny like her little brother. She loved Johnny just as much Dally did. Nicole stayed by Johnny and hugged him until out of know where tears started pouring out.

Ponyboy- Hey, hey Nikki there let it all out.

Two-Bit- "If anyone has a reason why Sodapop and Sandy shouldn't be wed speak now."

Dally- Right here! I don't like the broad.

Johnny- I want Nicole happy.

Ponyboy- I just don't like Sandy.

Nicole- Aww I love all you but he's happy and if that's who he wants we aren't stopping him.

The boys left and Nicole stayed at the house cleaning one of her favorite songs came on called Adios Amor (Its the song at the top it's called Goodbye Love I'll put the translation soon. Back to the story!)

Nicole stopped singing and realized she just ended up laying on the floor crying her eyes out. The man she grew up with and fell in love with is not in love with her and will ask a different woman to marry him. Nicole got up and fixed herself it's been 1hour since the boys left and pretty soon the whole gang is going to be getting home in 2 hours. She got finished cleaning and sat there watching tv.
