Surprise! Sinipag ako mag-update and wanted to post it na.

For those among us who are in a relationship or are married na, did you ever lost connection with friends because of your relationship? I did, kasi nga introvert si hubby. But it was ok with me because my world revolved around him, and when the kids came, lalo na.

My life is like a cozy ccocoon because I am happiest with my boys, dito lang sa ADN ako nagtuto to socialize again. It's great to be able to socialize without having to leave the house or my family. Perfect setup :)

Our ficMaine is undergoing a lot of changes in her life and it's a pretty big challenge for her to take it all in. Read on and discover how having RJ in Maine's life introduced upheavals that may be painful at first. We can't have everything talaga, but with what we have, we should be thankful :)

It was finally announced in the office that Maine was promoted to Technical Assistant, and was regularized before she even exhausted the six-month probationary period. A congratulatory greeting was posted on the company's Facebook group page, causing a dissension among the secretaries, some of whom liked working with Maine because she was professional in her dealings with them, and the noisier few who disliked her by virtue of being the newbie among them. It was on this note that Richard Senior overheard some of them talking in the pantry one morning.

"Hindi na nga," Chona said smugly while stirring her coffee. "One level away from being supervisory kaya yun."

"Bakit ang bilis? Ano bang accomplishments niya?"

"Baka hindi pang-office ang accomplishments niya," Chona said in a loud whisper. Everyone laughed, and it was at this point that Richard Sr. lost it.

"Good morning ladies, anong oras na ba? Oh, 9:30 na pala. May meeting pala dito na hindi ako na-inform. So who's presiding the meeting?"

The women stood up, ready to escape to their offices but Richard Sr. wasn't finished.

Sit down."

He looked at each one of them smiling, but it was a smile that did not reach his eyes.

Chona was quick to defend their point of view.

"Maine is not performing secretarial functions only. She can already package proposals for our offshore business, she also entertains inquiries for our offshore services. May ilang walk-in inquiries na siya na mismo ang naka-close on her own. Sa tutoo lang, gumanda ang takbo ng Offshore mula nang sila ni Richard ang nag-take over. Maganda yung tandem nila and the group is expanding. Now I ask you, sino sa inyo ang may ganong achievement para ma-promote?"

No one could answer.

"Ano, walang makasagot? Ladies, this is not the first time you've done this.
