I held my new daughter in my arms. She was perfect. She was the size of a bunny but orange, on the left side of her head on the brow was a patch of grey and a rabbit ear, while her right ear was a foxes ear. Her right paw was orange and the left was grey. Her left eye was purple and the other was green.
Nick came in the room and sat down next to me on the bed.
"Perfect, I love her." He siad stroking her cheek.
The doctor came in and told us that her species was called a red bunny. (I made that up and I'm tired .)
"So what's her name?" The doctor asked.
"Lily. " Nick and I siad at once.
"Lily? Did you guys discuss names?" The doctor asked
"No, we just knew." I siad leaning into Nick.
The doctor smiled and nodded leaving the room.
