You stormed upstairs into the bedroom that you shared so many great memories in, to never return there again. How stupid and idiotic you felt. How could your husband that you loved so dearly hurt you so badly? You had everything with him but obviously it wasn't destined.
You grabbed every single perfume off of your dresser and stuffed them into one of many bags you'd have to take with you tonight. You knew you needed to get out of there as soon as possible. But what would you tell the kids? Your biggest fear was a divorce between your own parents and you were fortunate enough for them to stay together and not to mention faithful!

Ariana would be distraught which only made you feel ten times worse. Money was definitely not a problem for you but knowing George would have to have some sort of custody of your children sickened you. In fact, you didn't want them to have any sort of relationship with their unfaithful father but it was unfair to do that to them and they couldn't possibly choose between their mum and dad.
There had to be some sort of plan, so you decided to call your parents at their London mansion to stay with them until finances were split between George and yourself. They were shocked to say the least. All they wanted was for their baby to be happy but instead you had been more hurt now than when you were sixteen and made you think was it really worth it?
You had so many ties to this man now. Children, marriage, a home and other things. It was just your luck to be cheated on right? The worst part was that George didn't seem to care at all. He hasn't followed you upstairs or even bothered to talk to you for about an hour. What nerve this guy had, right?

"I will return for things that I cannot bring at this time" you spoke, your voice was as dry as sand paper and secretly you wanted to break down. But it was nor the time or place. George looked at you with vacancy in his eyes. He didn't seem himself, he wasn't drunk. You knew that. But something was awful off about him. His fists were clenched and his breathing became more and more rapid by the second. You felt unsafe in his presence. But still he said nothing and let you walk out of the door. Which was lucky.

----few hours later---
You had explained to your parents everything that had happened whilst at your ex home. They were disgusted with George's behaviour and was utterly shocked as they thought so much of him. You had broken down crying, it had finally gotten the best of you.

"I loved him mum" you sobbed as your mum did her best to console you. "Oh (Y/N), I'm so sorry" your mother said as she gently rubbed your back. You felt awful. You felt a failure to your parents and your kids. How do you explain to two children that their father had slept with another woman whilst you had travelled to America. You couldn't. Of course it had to be done and there was no hiding from it. Your father was furious and wanted to land him in Azkaban. Pretty harsh I know.

The situation hadn't really sunk into you yet, and you were still sensitive to the fact that you weren't with your husband in your home. You were in your parents house, sobbing thinking about how you'd tell your children about the infidelity of their father. It was wrong. Very wrong. "I'm going up to bed mum" you said quietly, earning a nod from your mother. You walked up the stairs, barely breathing properly. You felt numb about the fiasco. You felt almost isolated. But deep down you knew you weren't.

----next day---

The brightness of the morning had awoken you, your eyes still sore from crying and your pillow damp. What a horrible feeling right? For all you knew, George could have already had a new girl in your house, in your bed and you wouldn't even know about it. You needed to talk to someone who wasn't your parents, who wasn't even your family. You needed to seek comfort from Draco.
You had figured that it was last minute and decided to Owl him so that he has some time to get back to you.

Dear Draco,

Hi, it's (Y/N). If you're not busy today would it be okay if I come over later? I need someone to talk to and I thought you could. Thanks,

(Y/N) x x

You were now praying that he answers you. You really needed it. You felt so alone and your parents just made you feel even more piteous. Although they didn't mean to, they just felt awful about you and it wasn't really the thing they were expecting to hear from their daughter. On top of everything, you had to file for divorce which was extremely stressful. You knew the kids would be distraught, and there was nothing you could do about it. You always ran from your problems and this time you knew there's no fixing infidelity. Your nails were tapping against the glass table impatiently as you waited for your owl to return with a letter.

Around an hour later, he did. Your heart raised from the sunken depths you had buried it in, eagerly grabbing the letter and opening it. Heart racing slightly at the what Draco's reply was.

Hi (Y/N)
Hope you're well, I am home pop In whenever you feel like, you know my address.

Draco Xx

A smile crept into your face as you examined the parchment. You never thought Draco would be the one to save you after what had happened, but you had no time to anticipate. You had to leave, there was that desire hidden within you that wanted Draco's sympathy more than anything. Selfishly pushing your children to one side for that moment, you had conjured up a fairytale of Draco and yourself reuniting but quickly shook it out of your head. It was nonsense.

You grabbed your purse and out the door you went, when you arrived at Draco's he was peering through the window with a smile you had not seen in so long. Your feet took you to his front door in which he opened for you. "Is everything okay love?" Draco asked with concern, helping you with your coat. "George. He's cheated" you replied barely, holding back the flood of tears. Draco almost froze, but a face of anger then painted his face. "That bloody idiot, (Y/N) what are you going to do?" Draco replied, motioning you into the lounge. "I'm leaving him" you claimed. Draco shot you a look, he didn't know whether to feel ecstatic or horrified. Although the second option was most probably the safest. "(Y/N) if you need anything you know where I am" he replied embracing you in a hug.
