Jake's P.O.V:
I sprinted to the end of the driveway to see Y/N with her face buried in her hands.
"Come here". I pulled her into a hug. My shirt now being wet from her teardrops. My chin resting on her head. I couldn't bear seeing her like this. I like Y/N. I love Y/N. I always have. I went to confront my feelings the day Anthony asked her out. I was jealous but I had to support my best friend and support her as well. It was heartbreaking and I'm past that. I'm worried about her.
"I can't anymore Jake—I just can't." She choked out.
"Shhhh—it's okay." I stroked her hair. Anthony came outside.
"Yo what's going on? Look I'm sorry Y/N—". He reached his hand out to take her but I pushed him.
"Sorry. That's all you have Tony is sorry?" I questioned.
"What's your problem Jake?"
"You. Your the problem. You've been flirting with Tessa this whole time while your dating Y/N. I don't understand it Tony. I really don't." I was furious. I would've treated Y/N better.
"You like Y/N don't you?! This is what this is about her. You were jealous."
"Shut up Tony." I looked over to Y/N. She gave me a confused look.
"No I see. You hated the fact Y/N and I were dating. It really bothered you—" I threw a punch. It hit his face. We both started to fight. It was a mess. Tessa grabbed Tony off me and Y/N grabbed me off of Tony.
"CAN YOU GUYS STOP!!" Y/N yelled. Anthony looked at me with a disgusted look and stormed into the house. Tessa followed. I looked to Y/N. Hoping she forgot everything I said. About me liking her. Our friendship is probably ruined.
Y/N's P.O.V:
Jake likes me. This whole time I was clueless. I was dating Anthony and never noticed Jake in the corner glancing over. UGHHH. I don't know what to do. I always did like Jake but then Anthony came around. Yes he did just break me but Anthony was just mad. Right? I don't know what to do. I saw Jake's face bleeding.
"Holy crap Jake. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." He touched the spot where he was hit.
"I really don't think you are I think we should—". I was cut off my his lips. He just kissed me. I kissed back and sparks flew. This felt right. I looked and at the corner of my eye was Anthony on the balcony looking down on us. He was upset. All of his anger had come out before and I could see a tear fall down his face and he shut the doors. I pulled away and ran. I didn't know what to do. There's two sides to every story right? What was Anthony's? The whole reason he began flirting with Tessa after they broke up? Why he dated me? Why he said what he did?
Heyro! Sorry I've been inactive... like.. for 4 days. I will be starting part 3 tomorrow and I also have a imagine request by @NicoleHawk7 that I have to write as well. Also, Happy Fourth🇺🇸❤️💙 :))
