Supergirl landed on the balcony of L-corp and Lena pulled in the Kryptonian with a warm smile
"Supergirl! To what do I owe this pleasure?" Lena said with a smile that made the alien weak in her knees
"I just wanted to drop by and say hi"
Lena nodded to the couch and both women sat down facing each other with a smile
"Want some wine?" Lena offers and Supergirl nods
The brunette came back with two glasses of red wine in her hands and handed the alien one, their fingers touching each other
Supergirl cleared her throat and looked at the CEO
"How have you been Lena? With everything going on"
Lena, of course knew what the alien was referring to. Her mother had escaped prison again and she was missing. Lex sent Lena a very nasty letter about her being a traitor and that no one could love her
"I'm okay" Lena said her voice just above a whisper
A few drinks later both girls sat very close to each other giggling about something Lena had said
Supergirl stared at Lena and she didn't realize she was leaning forward till Lena placed her hands on her chest and gently pushed her away
"I can't. I love someone else"
The Kryptonian nodded and held back her tears but she shrugged it off and gave Lena a smile
"Supergirl, can I ask you something?"
"Of course"
"Is uh... Is Kara seeing anyone?" Lena asked with a blush on her cheeks
The alien blushed and bit her lip to hide the smile that was daring to creep on her face
"No she is not. Nope she's not seeing anyone nooooo nope nope nope and as a matter of fact you should go ask Kara out right now" she muttered out with red cheeks
A smile spread across the Luthor's cheeks and she let out a squeal of delight
"Do you think she'll say yes?" the brunette said hestitately and Supergirl smiled
"She's going to flip"
She jumped up and hugged the Kryptonian quickly before heading out the door
As fast as the blonde could, she flew home and changed into sweatpants and a t-shirt
Minutes later she heard a knock on her door and opened it to a very nervous looking Lena
"Lena hi come in" Kara said 'surprised' to see her friend so late at her apartment
Lena walked in and closed the door behind her, following the blonde into the living room
"Kara I won't be staying long I just wanted to um ask you something" Lena said her voice squeaking as her nervousness grew
She wiped her sweaty palms on her legs and took a deep breath when she met blue eyes
"Will you um will you go on a date with me?" she breathed out and quickly looked down at her feet as heat rose to her cheeks
Kara stepped forward and gently lifted the girl's head before giving her a nod with a big smile on her face
Lena's heart fluttered at Kara's smile and a big smile grew on her face too
"Okay good uh yeah tomorrow night at six?"
Kara nodded still smiling. The blonde was waaaaay too happy to speak if she spoke now, she'd probably scream
Lena walked to the door and opened it when she turned around to face the blonde
"See you tomorrow"
"Night Lena" Kara said her voice squeaky
When the door shut Lena rested her forehead against it and a massive smile spread across her lips
