Lena sighed as she entered the last class of her day and took a seat at the back of the class where no one else were and no one else wanted to be
She didn't have friends around her and she was alone
No one wanted to be her friend. She didn't know why but no one had any interests in her
She closed her eyes and imagined herself in another world where she was accepted by society and everyone wanted to be her friend
Her fantasy was cut short when she felt a gentle hand on her arm causing her eyes to snap open meeting blue hues
"Hey can I uh sit here?" The girl's voice was sweet and shy
Lena nodded and went back to closing her eyes
"I'm Kara what's your name?" the blonde asked Lena and Lena's eyes snapped open again but this time she was blushing
This girl was actually nice to her and Lena offered the girl a smile
"My name's Lena"
The blonde held out her hand and Lena shook it with a shy smile
"Nice to meet you"
The teacher made the class shut up and Kara took out her glasses, putting them on and adjusting them
Lena couldn't help but think how cute the blonde looked in glasses
The thing was, no one wanted to be Lena's friend because she's gay
Realizing she had been staring at the blonde she quickly averted her eyes to her textbook where she noticed a little paper with a smiley face on
Lena couldn't help but smile and draw a smiley back
She quickly looked in Kara's direction where she found the blonde's eyes on her and the blonde smiled and Lena sweared that, that smile was the literal definition of sunshine
Kara pointed to Lena's book where the brunette saw another piece of paper
Wanna be friends? (: - Kara
Lena had the biggest grin on her face when she wrote a letter back
Sure sunshine - Lena (:
Lena had always felt invisible but not since Kara Sunshine Danvers entered her life
