"Are you even real?! I've missed you, mi reine."
When days fled to weeks, it was the time Eleanor realized that she was going to live in the court of France. Nervous and happy at the same time.
The king just arrived that morning, he then visited his daughter at her room. Her ladies were helping her pack for the trip.
"King Edward of Scots." The royal guard said, it then got the attention of the ladies as they curtsied and left the king and queen to talk.
"Father," Eleanor said still packing the dresses she have chosen "how was the trip? How was England?" She asked, there were no reply from her father. She stop and looked at him. "Is everything alright?"
The king sat down at her bed then replied, "Eleanor, you might be the next queen of Scotland and England." He spoke; Eleanor was shocked not knowing what to say.
"But a lot of people in England hates me father!" She replied, "they want cousin, Elizabeth to be queen," her father gave her a frown.
"No one can stop my daughter in conquering the world," the king said and Eleanor gave him a peck in the cheek and said, "I love you, papa."
A quick goodbye was given to Eleanor and her ladies. On the way all they talked about was what will Queen Eleanor's wedding dress will look like. It was wonderful, Eleanor was rather excited to see Adam.
Eleanor waited for days just to see Adam, those days in the ship. But then she always keeps in mind that it will be worth it.
When they arrived a carriage was already waiting. The carriage that brought them to the castle.
The villagers were on the castle gates waiting for the future queen of France. Everyone was cheering for her, as she saw Adam at the Castle doors.
The got off the carriage, sounds of trumpets were all over the palace. "Queen Eleanor of Scots!" Lumiere announced as the cheers grew louder.
Eleanor immediately walks towards Prince Adam. "Prince," she said before she curtsies. Making Adam smile.
"Are you even real? I've missed you mi reine" he replied with a bow. They hugged afterwards. They couldn't resist the tension.
They escorted Eleanor to her room, in the east wing. It was full of roses; her favorite flower. "It's perfect." was the immediate word that came out of her mouth.
"See you at dinner, Eleanor." Said Adam, "Ms Potts will arrive shortly." He added, when he closes the door. Eleanor looks around and spins around with the thought of living in the castle with Adam.
