Annie's P.O.V

I sat on the chair as I watched Jason sleep peacefully at the hospital, I smiled as I put my hand in his soft hair. His hair curled perfectly around my fingers, I couldn't help but place a kiss on his forehead.

I was quit worried because he told me that he was going to leave the hospital the day after to take care of business; he said that it's not the first time he'd been shot and I shouldn't be worried about him but his words only made me more worried.

Falling in love with Jason was one of the best things that happened to me but I knew that It wasn't going to be easy, his lifestyle was dangerous and I knew that there will be a lot of difficult things to face but that didn't make me regret falling in love with him, I was ready to fight for him, to face everything for him and to die for him. He was the only thing I had and I wasn't going to give up on him.

"Puppy" I heard Jason say making me snap out of my thoughts.

I looked at the love of my life who laid there looking at me with sleepy eyes.

"Did I wake you up?" I asked as I removed the hair that was on his eyes from his face.

I kept my hand on his soft hair playing with it as he chuckled.

"No you didn't, I just find it hard to sleep when you're not in my arms" he smiled up at me.

"But I'm right next to you, try to get some sleep" I told him before placing a kiss on his forehead.

He moved his body to the side of the bed then tapped the empathy spot next to him.

"Come here" he ordered then he opened his arms for me.

"No way, you're injured and you need to rest" I argued which made him roll his eyes at me.

"I won't be able to sleep if you don't sleep with me, come here" he said as he grabbed my hand.

"Fine" I gave up as I laid down next to him.

His smile grew wider as he looked at me, I smiled back at him as I put my hand on his cheek and looked at his eyes.

"You should get some sleep Jay or you will be exhausted tomorrow" I told him not removing my hand from his cheek.

He stared at my eyes not saying anything then he placed a kiss on my forehead. He then closed his eyes and held me closer to his body.

It didn't take long before Jason fell asleep, I tried to do the same thing but I couldn't, my mind filled with different thoughts of my future with him, I couldn't help but think about what was waiting for us and about the fights that our love would have to face.

"What is it that worries you this much puppy?" his voice made me immediately look up at him, although I couldn't see his face in the darkness.

He turned the lights on then he looked at me, he sighed before putting his hand on my hair playing with it.

"Why did you wake up?" I asked a bit annoyed by his carelessness, he was planning to leave the hospital and he didn't even care about getting proper sleep.

"That doesn't answer my question puppy, tell me what is worrying you" he told me in a hushed voice as he looked at me seriously.

"Nothing is worrying me" I lied as I looked away from him.

I could hear him sigh trying to calm himself down, he removed his hand from my hair to grab my chin and force me to look at him.

"What is it? Tell me" he said calmly but I could see on his face that he was getting angry.

"Do you think that our love will be strong enough to face everything without tearing us apart?" I asked as I looked at everything but his eyes.

He held me closer to him before kissing the top of my head.

"I don't think, I know that our love is strong enough to face anything, no matter what happens my love for you will just grow I won't let us be apart I promise" he told me not letting go of me.

His voice filled the room as his words warmed my heart, his words blocked my negative thoughts it made my fears go away, his words were so powerful and meaningful to me.

"I love you so much" I said as I looked at him.

He smiled at me before putting his lips on mine, kissing me slowly.

"I love you too puppy".
