When Ali bin abi taleb (radi Allah a'anh) used to sit with al rsool (salah allahu alih w salm) and eat dates with him, he would throw the the seeds of the dates which he has eaten in front of the prophet(SAWS)
and joke with him after they finish eating : oh ya rsool Allah you have eaten all of these!.
And the prophet used to reply to his words joking: and you Ali you have eaten the dates with the seeds :D
