Today will be the longest period of eclipse that ever happened till now. It's a sunnah to do ibadah till it goes away. It is said that it happens to make us fear the day of judgment as it's a glimpse of what will happen then
It's prayer is two rakaat: the first one you read the fatiha and then a long surah then you do the usual rukooh and when you stand you read the fatiha again and a shorter surah then you do the usual rukooh and sujood.
After the second sujdah you do takbiir and start with the second rakaat doing exactly like the first but with shorter verses of quran then do tashahud and salam.
It's said that if you finished the prayer and it's still there you should continue doing ibadah ex. Tasbeeh/ sadaqah.
