[converted the original notice chapter to a copyright notice because I felt like it should be addressed after there were copycat issues. long rant down below but an important read.]

ABOUT THE AUTHOR OF THIS STORY:

Sweet as sugar, hard as ice

Copy her once, she'll take you down twice.

In July 2017, there was an issue with copycats using very similar plot lines and trying to pass it off as their own after clearly reading this story first. As a result, I took actions to deal with it and thankfully, it has been resolved for now so I am slowly changing the story chapters back to the way they were. However, it also has made me weary and I wanted to address these things in a separate notice instead of rambling on in the preface.

All said and done, it's far more pleasant for the both of us if you don't copy.

*I actively seek out plagiarizers so please don't copy and paste lines of dialogue into your story and pass them off as your own because there will be consequences.*

Though I am a pleasant person otherwise, I have zero tolerance and patience for copycats and plagiarizers, whether it's the summary, writing, or graphics. The work that I've put into writing this story and creating the graphics is on my own time and from my own imagination — not yours, so find your own ideas instead of copying and learn some respect while you're at it. In case you didn't know, the dictionary.com definition of plagiarizing is:

1. an act or instance of using or closely imitating the language and thoughts of another author without authorization and the representation of that author's work as one's own, as by not crediting the original author:

2. a piece of writing or other work reflecting such unauthorized use or imitation

Be aware that plagiarizing extends beyond direct copying too — it also includes using the idea/plot (or something very similar), using the original dialogue in this story  (which I've put a lot of time into inventing), and rewording paragraphs or renaming characters while passing it off as your own. INBOX ME please if you aren't sure.

If you happen to see similar lines or stories on here or other sites, please let me know as soon as possible via inbox too!
