"'it gets better!'
does it?
because right now;
all i see is darkness surrounding me,
and whispers laughing at me,
and 'friends' pitying me.
so tell me –
does it actually get better?
or do i just have a
bad case of bad luck?"

fact:
so many people kept telling me those 3 (at the time) annoying words. and i hated hearing it every single time. this is because at the time i couldn't see a future ahead. all i kept seeing was a blank canvas and most people around me seemed to have their lives figured out, whereas i was still unsure of what to do or where to go after high school.
but trust me when i say this; it honestly does get better. i never would've thought a year from now i'd be the one telling other people those same 3 words.
