blissful bitterness

slithering around your finger

i could stay and linger,

with your hands upon my neck

i'm bound to be a hot wreck,

boring eyes into mine

i think, deep down, we'll decline.

you knew what you were doing:

so unaware of who else you were pursuing.

i watch you bring her

and i resort to become an overthinker,

i know what i signed up for when delt with the deck

sometimes i can't help but check.

i wish i could be your new shrine

but all i do is burden and whine.

you're entangled in me, there's no undoing

if only there was a chance of renewing.

is there a chance for you to see?

i know there can't be three.

for you, i'll submit

but i know you see me as unfit:

who knew love can make one go crazy,

i hate that i think about you daily

relieve me from these cures

please keep whispering more of these lures.

i let you break me:

this might be wrong but i agree,

because if you didn't do it

i'd have done it sooner, i admit.

but i know you didn't mean it baby,

just say the words then maybe

i'll be all yours

for you to make some tours.
