"everyone talks about
these dumb sparks
and how they feel
when near a lover.
i've either:
1. not experienced such emotion
or
2. my partners weren't the right ones.
we can't keep lurking
for these so-called
'sparks', children.
they're mere lies anyway.
you don't always
feel those 'sparks'
not every time.
perhaps
once in a while, dear.
gradually,
you feel at peace
and instead of a 'spark'
they are more like a home."
