?¿Religion?¿

I've noticed that things that happen in your life definitely shape your religion. My life overall has been pretty good and I don't really know if I truly believe that god is real but I don't think I'll be changing my religion anytime soon because it's kind of just part of my life.

Two of my best friends are atheist. Those two friends have also grown up with their parents getting divorced. Those two friends also have pretty shitty dads. I never really put it together in my mind until now but those two friends have had pretty similar family lives.

Religion is such a weird thing. In my opinion it doesn't really have a huge effect on your life. I guess it can but it doesn't have to. See two of my best friends are atheist, and one of my best friends is pretty religious. And to be quite honest it doesn't really seem like my religious friend is happier than my atheist friends. In fact my atheist friends are way happier than my one religious friend.

I don't find myself thinking about religion very often, but when I do it seems to be about my friends' religious perspectives and not about my own. I just don't really see religion like an important part of my life.
