*2 hours later*
Angel: *Asleep*
Jill: *Reading a magazine*
Prince: *Wide awake looking off*
Jill: *Looks up from her magazine* you ok?
Prince: I need a cigarette *Leaves the waiting room*
*Outside*
Prince: *Lights a cigarette. He closes his eyes as he lets the cigarette smoke escape his mouth and nose. He takes another puff trying to calm down*
Jill: *Comes from behind* Hey
Prince: Hey
Jill: How you holdin up?
Prince: *Shrugs* Not too good *Takes a puff*
Jill: You got another?
Prince: Yah *Gives her a cigarette and lights it for her*
Jill: *Smokes*
Prince: If my baby girl don't make it....I swear Imma loose it...
Jill: We gotta find out who did this
Prince: Oh trust me I will. *Takes another puff* And that person has a great deal of pain comin....
Jill: *Inhales her cigarette*
Prince: *A tear escapes his eye* This is all my fault
Jill: Prince don't do that
Prince: I promised her I was gonna protect her...and look where she is. I'm a terrible father *Cries*
Jill: *Puts her cigarette out* Stop that! Listen to me you are a GOOD father. I know you love that baby with all her heart and mind.
Prince: *Cries* I do!
Jill: You gave her your own blood. Now you had a choice to do that
Prince: *Looks at her*
Jill: Prince I've worked for you for 10 years now. Since Angel and La Princia came along you've been more caring then anybody I've ever known. I've seen how you treat that baby...Now you stop all that crying stop it *Takes out some tissue and wipes his eyes*
Prince: *Starts to calm down*
Jill: Look I know this has been a rough night for you so just take a deep breath and calm down
*A black SUV pulls up that catches Jill and Prince's attention*
Marcus: *Comes out* Yo Prince!
*Levi, Tommy, and the rest of his crew hop out of the SUV*
Prince: *Signals them*
Levi: Yo man what happened?
Prince: Some asshole tried to drown La Princia
Tommy: God Damn!
Marcus: She alright man?
Prince: *Looks at his watch* I don't know yet. The doctor should of come back for the results by now
Marcus: Well les head inside and see wassup
*All of them except Prince head to the entrance*
Marcus: Yo P you comin man?
Prince: I'll be there in a minute.
Marcus: *Nods his head and heads inside*
Prince: *Sits down on a nearby bench. He then looks up at the sky* Hey uh...whas happenin man? Look here...i don't ask for much...In fact this is my first time prayin and....*Takes a deep breath* I know I've sinned against you many times....*His eyes well up again and tears fall out* But I really need you right now...My daughter's in there dyin man....And I can't do nothin about it....Please don't take her from me...not now. *Cries harder* She's only 6 months! *points to his chest* Thas my baby! My 1st born. She's my pride and joy. If she dies....I'll die. All I'm askin is that you let her live....*sniff* *Wipes his eyes* If you let my baby live I promise...Imma.....Imma try to do better with my life. Just....let her....live
*30 minutes later*
Angel: *Still asleep with Prince's jacket supporting her as a blanket*
Prince: Hey baby
Angel: *Instantly wakes up* Baby? *Looks in his eyes* Aw *Caresses his face* Have you been crying?
Prince: A little
Angel: *Gives him a soft kiss on the lips then pulls away*
Prince: *Rubs her back*
*The doctor comes back out*
Doctor: Mr. Nelson?
*They all stand up*
Doctor: *Eyes widen for moment looking at his boys*
Prince: How is she doc?
Doctor: *smiles* Well I have some good news Mr. Nelson...We finally got her to breath on her own. she's gonna be just fine.
Marcus: *Happily* Hey hey! *Hi fives Levi*
Levi: Alright! *Pulls him to a hug*
*His boys celebrate*
Angel: *Hugs Prince*
Prince: *Hugs her tight*....*He looks up and mouths* Thank you
