One more light

Should've stayed, were there signs, I ignored?
Can I help you, not to hurt, anymore?
We saw brilliance, when the world, was asleep
There are things that we can have, but can't keep

The shadows of now the waning moon stretched across the field as I got up and looked at the twinkling light stars. They looked more like lanterns finding their ways to their true path. Up there the true legend was watching over the herd.

Amber Dance, Hugo, Quest and the twins. All rested near their own families. I, however didn't want to be near my family. I walked over to the hill that looked over the valley as I sighed and turned human as I sighed deeply and blinked at each colored mane and coat of each horse. Browns to Autumn colors to black. Suddenly I hear clops of hooves coming up the hill as I turn to see the familiar leader of the herd. The legendary stallion. Spirit.

'What are you doing up, Luna?' He asks as I just stared up at the sky. "Just thinking to myself. Hey Spirit?" I called to him as he whips his head towards me. 'Yes?' He answers. "Do you miss your friend you made when you were with the tribe?" I ask as he sighs and nods. 'All the time, I can tell Rain does too,' he answers sadly as I nod.

If they say
Who cares if one more light goes out?
In a sky of a million stars
It flickers, flickers
Who cares when someone's time runs out?
If a moment is all we are
We're quicker, quicker
Who cares if one more light goes out?
Well I do

I sigh and back up as Spirit stares at me. "I'm going to do something I should have done the other night." (BTW this is a few days later. Maybe like ten days later) I then turn and ran to the path that lead to the small stream.

The sound of running water sounded in the night of the quiet woods. The blue roses that rested near the trail bloomed brightly as I stopped by a bush and kneeled down to grab a bouquet of them. I smiled at the mystery color they gave off knowing. They were my symbol. I was a mystery to everyone's eyes.

The reminders pull the floor from your feet
In the kitchen, one more chair than you need oh
And you're angry, and you should be, it's not fair
Just 'cause you can't see it, doesn't mean it, isn't there

I then got up and walked across the stream as I looked down at my clothes knowing I would be seen instantly. I his behind a tree as I walked out wearing a long black dress ombre blue dress. With a long black cloak to hide my figure and and face. I put the hood up and ran towards the ranch with the roses in hand.
