{Jezzabelle's Pov}
After putting on some dry clothes, Kaden had his men bring us some food after our swim. Kaden led us to a small table near the lake that had the delicious looking food on it.
"After you madam" he says in an accent as I bowed before laughing,
"Why thank you kind sir" I say with a British accent before laughing,
"Chocolate covered fruits?" I ask noticing the plate of chocolate covered strawberries, bananas, Apple slices, and oranges,
"Sweet, and satisfying" he says placing a strawberry in his mouth before handing me one,
"This is pretty good" I say with a nod as he chuckles,
"Do you have French fries?" I ask cautiously as he looks at me confusedly,
"What? I like chocolate fudge and French fries" I say with a shrug as he chuckles,
"I just so happened to have that" he says placing a plate of French fries and fudge next to me as I gasped happily,
"What other surprises are you going to have for me today soon to be Alpha King?" I ask with a smirk as he was about to say something before a familiar voice cuts him off,
"Kaden!" Kane shouts as we both turn to an out of breath Kane,
"Vampires, many of them, have been spotted near the new born shifters not so long ago" he says as Kaden growls,
"Let's move" he says as I try to finish the french fries,
"Come on babe" he says dragging me away from the food as I frowned,
"Your father is already there, he wants you to help" Kane says before Kaden lifted me into the carriage by myself,
"Take her to the castle, and make sure she's safe" Kaden says to the driver as I look at him like hes crazy,
"Dont you dare leave me Kaden!" I snapped as he groans,
"Baby, please. I need to help my father, and you need to be far away from getting hurt" he says caressing my cheek as I sigh sadly,
"Fine but you have to promise you'll come back to me" I say holding his hand as he tries to leave,
"Bab-" before he finished I cut him off by grabbing his chin to face me,
"Dont baby me, promise!" I say sternly before he nods,
"I promise" he says before kissing me passionately,
"We gotta go Kaden" Kane says as I hear the shouts and stampede of the pack moving about,
"Go!" I say pulling away as he nods before the carriage driver started driving,
I watched my lovely mate turn into his humongous black wolf. He raced off the opposite way of the castle as I prayed to the moon goddess that he makes it back to me safely.
"The luna!" I hear the guards shout as soon as I arrived to the castle,
"Come with me Luna" The guard says as I followed him watching the other guards secure the castle gates,
"This way" he says as I see Kadens mother pacing back and forth nervously,
"Oh my gosh! There you are" She says hugging me tightly as I tried to pry her off,
"Yes I'm fine, whats happening?" I ask confusedly as she sighs,
"The fricken blood suckers are back, they haven't been a problem before. I guess since there's been more royalty wolves in the castle now they wanna make them selves known. Last time they were here when we had kaden." She says with a shrug as my eyes widened,
"They wanted to kill my baby but good thing my husband killed over a hundred of those demons before they could lay a finger on my newly born" she says before walking up stairs as I followed her,
"It won't be long till our mates will come back, come on. Let's have some tea and crackers" she says pulling me into a nice dining room with a humongous chandelier,
"How did the whole Vampire situation thing happen?" I ask sitting across from her as she pours tea in our cups,
"It started centuries ago darling" she says as I sip my tea,
"Instead of worrying about that, how bout my future grandbabies?" She asks with a smile as my eyes widened,
"I'm not getting any younger, and I know for a fact that you guys completed the mating process, after all I am the one that knows everything that happens in my castle" she says with a smirk as I gulped nervously,
"I'm playing" she says laughing as I laughed nervously,
"Well, I'm gonna go start dinner. You wanna help?" She asks as I shrugged,
"Fight vampires all day is gonna come down to two very hungry alphas" She says with a sigh as I laughed before following her to the kitchen.
