My little feet padded along the forest floor as my silver hair flew out behind me. I grabbed onto my best friend's hand as we ran, chased by our parents in their wolf forms. Jet giggled as his father grabbed his collar and dangled Jet in the air. My dad did the same. I stroked my dad's head and he growled softly.

"Daddy is a good dog." I laughed before Jet tackled me to the floor.

"I can't wait until we are wolves Kiara. We will wrestle in our wolf forms and you will have to let me win." Jet pinned me to the ground and grinned.

I rolled over and pinned him to the ground. "I have always been stronger. Quicker. I will obviously win." I said proudly.

"Kiara, remember what I said. When you are older, Jet will be Alpha. He will be the strongest wolf of the pack." My mum had changed back into her human form and picked me off Jet. "Now come on you two, I think you two need to go to bed."

"We are seven now, Leah. We don't have to go to bed." Jet told me mum while yawning.

"Of course you don't Jet." Mum giggled.

As we were walking back, a strange wolf suddenly appeared and growled at us. I watched as my mum changed into her wolf form and started to fight. Before I could see anymore, Jet grabbed my hand and dragged me to hide. But I couldn't run as fast as him. Tripping over, I fell head first into the forest floor. Two rough hands forcefully picked me up before everything went black.
