"Hey, Ted..." I answered the door with unnoticeable shock. I didn't expect him to show up at my door. "What are you doing here? I thought you would have had plans with Chris or Nick." Him and Nick are secretly dating because Chis and Betty's situation.
"A-Actually y/n, that's why I'm h-here..." Ted replied with this. Along with a sadness only a close friend or someone he trust's would be able to detect. I brought him into my family room, absent of a family, and sat him on the couch. I gave him a minute to calm down and prepare what he was going to say. "C-Chris and Betty... T-They made us break u-up...." He started to cry but went on, "They caught u-us cuddling on t-the couch and C-Chris started yelling at me while Betty a-and Nick walked o-off...." I hugged him and said that I loved him like I always have and suggested we go watermelon shopping together. He chuckled and said to get ready.
