Chapter Twenty Two: Of All the People I Lost

(Typical Felix and Locus)

I groaned when i heard someone say, "Hey! Rise and shine!" "Mmn" I groaned while waking up, "That's right get"-"Shut up!" "Ugh, I groaned looking up to see two solider's in grey green armor and orange grey armor. "Who are you and what do you want from me?" "You shouldn't be asking questions." "Felix, we have to go." "Alright, sit tight, we'll be back for you." I growled angrily but they already left. For an hour and a half I tried to escape but it was useless so i just waited for my captures to return however I kept hearing gun shots and explosions. I hoped that my friends were safe and it wasn't them. When they came back the orange one said to me, "So we're going to asked you some questions and you're going answer them or else." "Or else what?" I asked snakily he glared then the green one said, "Or else we'll try different methods." I silently debated what to do, the orange one seemed a bit easy to deal with however his partner might be a challenge. "So let's begin," "Why are you here?" "And did you touch anything?" "Shut up Felix." "Felix?" I muttered. "Bite me, Locus!" He angrily glared at him then it him, "Felix? Locus? Is that- Wait are you two mercenaries?" "Who's asking?" What about you?" Felix asked me, "Well my friends and I were trying to get back home but our ship crashed landed. Where are we?" "Wait are they dressed in red and blue?" Felix asked confused, "Yeah, why?" "Well"-"Don't tell him!" Felix started but Locus cut him off. "Tell me what?" I asked confused as Felix defended, "He has the right to know!" "Know what? I asked again fearfully, Please somebody tell me." Felix sighed then told me, "We found- We found a group of solider's bodies that match that description on the beach." "W-What? I asked shocked Wait! What about the machines?" "The parts were scattered on the ground." "Are you sure they were dead?" "Yeah, sorry kid but the only one wasn't totally gone was a grey blue guy but before we could treat him he coughed up a lung." "Wash." I whispered sadly "Then-Then they were"- I couldn't bring myself to say it my friends no my family were dead. I was alone again. "Who-Who killed them?" I asked as Locus told me, "They were caught by the locals here on Charon."" What work are you doing here, then?" I asked as Locus answered, "We're employed to stop them at any cost." ""You feel like getting you hands dirty?" Felix asked me with a grin while offering me his hand. I smirked, "You had me at stop." I told him while taking his hand.
