a present or a curse

meeting a old friend

                    Narrator hiccup p.o.v
After a whole 5 years of trying to remember what happened I was about to give up until one raid.
 
                                     Hiccup p.o.v
I woke with a scream as my window got blown to bits. I jumped up and got dressed and went to the whole in my room and looked outside, the village was up in flames as per usual but something was off, t I jumped out the window and ran to thw forge to meet up with gobber. I was running until someone grabbed me by the scruff of my shirt as flames rolled by "thank for the -" but I stopped once I heard his voice "well well well, looks like I have the heir to berk in my hand, what to do, what to do" he said as he grabbed a knife and ran it along my face and down my chest then, without warning, cut off my vest. "Oh so helpless, what's next, pants or shirt...oh hell why not both" he said as he went to rip off my shirt but a screech and explosion later, I was on the floor and he had been shot into the ocean. I got up and quietly said to myself "you got what you deserved Alvin" after that I went to run towards the forge but I was lifted off the ground and was screaming until it hurt to even whisper, but before it could even take me out of the village, someone shot a bola at us and hit the dragon carrying me and we both landed in the forest to where I was tied up to it and it was unconscious. I tried to wiggle around but it didn't work out to well, but as I wiggled around I hit something And lets say now I know its a boy. I grabbed the dagger out of my vest and cut myswlf out of the ropes and turned around to see a nightfury shaking its head while gettong up and stare at me. We sat there in awkward silence until "I'm sorry" I jumped at this new voice talking to me and looked around to see if I could find it "I was really sad and mad at the queen and you came by before I could cool off, I didn't mean to hurt you like that, could you please forgive me?" I stared at the night fury who was now hanging their head in shame "are you the one who is talking?" I asked staring at it with disbelieve "um yeah" I was shocked and I slowly back away "do you not remember, it's me, hiccup, shadow" he said. My head started to hurt like crazy, it felt like I was slowly getting my head crushed, the night fury started approaching me so I backed away still holding my head until I fell on my butt and backed away until my back was against a rock. The night FURY got closer with large eyes, kinda like a cat, and the pupils were cube like, then the night fury put its forehead against mine and then I started to see its memories
flashbacks
"You can't catch me~" the small night fury sang "oh yeah, whatch me" a younger looking me said as she used a long branch to jump a further distance and landed on the small night fury "ha gotcha" the smaller me said as she got up. Then every thing became blurry and then cleared up. We were in the cove I wokw up in and I saw a younger me chasimg the same small night fury "ima get you shadow" the younger me said as shadow jumped onto younger me's head "well now, I got you , hiccup" then everything went blurry again and now we were in the cove "ITS YOUR FAULT, HICCUP" then a plasma ball hit younger me in the chest and threw me into the wall with a sickneing crack and now younger me was unconcious "h-hiccup" shadow poked unconscious me with gis snout "I-I'm sorry hiccup but please don't leave me hiccup please" then shadow started to cry "not you too" then it all went blurry again.
Flashbacks end
I looked up at the big night FURY and whispered "shadow?" Then he nodded and I launched myself at him and hugged him around his neck "I missed you" I said as tears went down my face but then i felt a gigantic pain spread across my back and down my arms and into my hands. I looked up at shadow and told him to follow me as we went to the cove where we first met and when I got there I jumped into the cove and landed without trouble. The pain is still pulsing throughout my body "why does it hurt" I asked through my teeth. I was on my knees barely able to breathe due to the pain "help...me...please" I said as I looked up at shadow Then passed out due to all the pain. When I woke up I opened my eyes 'OH GOD IT HURTS' I mentally screamed at myself, when I opened my eyes the sun was directly above me and my eyes weren't adjusted to the brightness so it hurt...a lot. After I let my eyes adjust I looked around and I saw I was in a similar cove to the one I met shadow in so I got up and walked around but it was difficult because it felt like I had gained a few dozen pounds "why am I so heavy" I asked myself not expecting an answer "probably because you have been laying there for like 4 days" I look over towards the voice and saw shadow "SHADOW!! DONT SCARE ME LIKE THAT" I yelled as he flinched "sorry" he said with an dragon equivalent to a snicker "wait I WAS ASLEEP FOR 4 DAYS!!" I yelled again as he flinched again "sensitive hearing" he said and at first I was confused but then cought on "oh sorry" I apologized "its fine l, you didnt know" he said "oh and now you have 3 days to try and explain to your friends and family that you wont be seeing them in a while" he said "why?" I asked looking at his calm face "well~I may or may not of accidentally bit your shoulder, I may or may not have made a deal with the gods to let you live but with a price" he said "..." I couldnt speak because I was so supprised that he was this calm about this "that price may or may not be that you turn dragon in the next three days and won't be able to turn back for 5 years...sorry"

A/n
See, long chapter as promised and I made it a little interesting, and (just a warning for the future) there will be more sad chapters but like three more (I think) and I've decided that I will probably make like 6 more chapters to this (not including a/n) so enjoy the day and the chapter
