Demi's POV:
We went to Jenny's mall. It's the biggest mall in our state. I look back at Lizzy and she is now asleep. I smile. I don't blame her. She's had a rough day.
"Lizzy, baby, it's time to wake up"
"Nooooooooo" she moans
"Yesssssss" I said mimicking her.
We get out of the car and go into Top Shop.
"Demi, you really don't have to do this. I don't want to waste your money like this. I mean, this store is expensive."
I sigh.
"No. I want to. You are my daughter now and I love you."
She smiles. It makes me smile back.
She picks out 12 shirts and says she's done. We go to check out and I go to the cash register. I look up to see Nick.
"What are you doing here?" I said joking around.
"Oh you know, just a summer job." He said laughing "hey, I've been meaning to ask you, do you want to go to dinner tomorrow?"
"I'd like that very much." I said blushing.
I feel the sparks already.
"Mom- I mean Demi, I'm tired. Can we go home?"
Did she just call me mom?!
