When you say something;
anything on your mind,
a quote from a legendary scientist,
an opinion,
you’re risking absurdity.
So, unless you’re mute,
there’s no way you can’t
be taking this risk.
It’s good to take a risk, right?
What if that risk labels you absurd.
What if people walk around thinking,
“Oh, there goes the absurd one. “
Ah, but what if you just happened
to not give a damn?
What if those people are just
so ashamed of being
absurd themselves,
they feel the need to degrade
all the other absurdities
to make themselves
feel better about being so absurd?
The thing is,
it’s not a what if question.
That’s just how it is.
To life,
you have to be constantly
risking absurdity,
otherwise
you’re not living.
