No. It was definitely a someone. Noelle doesn't like people that much if you couldn't already tell.
Does this new girl look trustworthy? she thinks. No. Nobody seems trustworthy anymore.
Noelle pulled up beside her and realized that this girl was Brianna. Her old best friend before she moved. If she was correct it was a girl named Brianna. A sweet girl, funny at times, serious at others. She couldn't let her perish in her spot. She stopped next to her.
"N...Noelle... is that really you!?!"
Noelle was correct. It was Brianna.
"Um...Hi Brianna... do you need a ride?"
Brianna nods and gets in the passengers seat, holding Noelle's bag. "Where did you run off to? I haven't seen you in ages!"
"I left that ratchet ass town." Noelle laughs.
"Yea. It was pretty bad."
Noelle drives. Brianna tries to talk but her speech is muffled by the engine. Then something terrible happens as the water begins to rise...
Noelle begins to speed down the road and just as she gets away crash!!! A building crashes down but this time the shards don't hit them. They keep driving.
