Morgan's POV

*skip a couple days*

It is Christmas Eve. My mom and I are on FaceTime with Luke and Serena.

"I miss you guys." Mom says.

"Its only been a couple days mom." Luke says.

"I know. But its Christmas. This is our first time being apart for Christmas." She says.

They continue to talk as I'm on my computer. Aaliyah is sitting next to me seeing what I'm doing and Shawn is sitting on the floor watching TV.

Suddenly a notification from Skype pops up on my laptop.

*Dad is online*
*Dad is calling you*

I automatically scream.

Everyone looks at me with weird and confused looks.

"What's wrong?" Shawn asks. "Did Morgan just scream?" Luke asks through the phone. "Yes. Morgan why'd you scream?" Mom asks.

I accept the call and then my dads face pops up. I immediately burst into tears.

"Hi daddy." I say with my hand covering my mouth. My mom looks at my laptop and she starts getting teary eyed too.

"Hi princess." He says smiling. "I miss you." I say still crying. "I miss you too sunshine." He says. Shawn comes over and stands behind me as Aaliyah and mom are on my sides.

"How's it going? Where are you guys? Doesn't look like the house." My dad asks.

"We are at Shawn's house for Christmas. You remember him right? And we did this last year too." I say.

"Ah I see that Shawn kid behind you." Dad says. I look behind me and smile at Shawn with me still crying. I move the laptop to my right so it faces Aaliyah.

"This is Shawn's sister, Aaliyah." I say introducing her. "Hi." Aaliyah says. "Hi Aaliyah." My dad says.

I move the laptop to my left so it faces mom. "And here's mom." I say. "Hi honey!" My dad says smiling even bigger. "Hi darling." She says with tears coming.

"Where's Luke?" Dad asks. "He's on FaceTime with his girlfriend Serena." I say. Mom shows the phone screen to him.

"Hey dad!" Luke says. "Hey Luke! You got a girlfriend? She's a beautiful young lady." Dad says. "Thank you." Serena says.

Shawn's parents come downstairs and walk into the frame so my dad can see them.

"Um daddy these are Shawn's parents." I say pointing at them. "Hello!" My dad says. "Hi." Mr. and Mrs. Mendes say.

I hear some voices and muffling in the background of where my dad is.

"I gotta go guys. I'll see you sooner than you know it. Bye guys love you and Merry Christmas." Dad says.

"Bye darling. Love you." Mom says. "Bye." Shawn and Aaliyah say. "Merry Christmas." Mr. and Mrs. Mendes say. Bye dad!" Luke says. "Bye Mr. Johnson." Serena says.

"Merry Christmas daddy, I love you. Bye." I say with even more tears coming. He blows a kiss then hangs up.

I close my laptop in shock that I just talked to my dad for the first time since my first day of school last year.

"Holy shit!" I scream. "Morgan Lynn Johnson. Language!" My mom says. "Sorry mom." I say smiling big. "I'll be back." I say running up the stairs.

I plop on Shawn's bed, grab my phone, and FaceTime Macey.
