I walked back over to Janson and lifted his arms outward, I measured it wrote it down. I did this with every measurement I needed to get. It didn't take long, maybe 15, 20 minutes.
"Okay here it is, 1,750M,"
Paying already, trustworthy.
"Thank you," Evie said counting it out.
"Why thank you," Jay repeated. "I'm positive you're going to do great."
"You guys can get measured now," Evie offered leading Jay somewhere to measure.
I nodded at Lonnie, giving her the okay to walk over.
"So how are you two doing?" Lonnie asked
Evie and I looked at each other and laughed.
"We're doing great." We both said."You two?" I asked
"Getting used to it," Lonnie said. "My mother and father are coming to watch practice today,"
"A bit nervous," Jay admitted
"Oh look at that- Lonnie and Jay have been dating for what? 3-4 days and look, Jay is going to meet Lonnie's parents!" I glared over at Evie.
"I already said I would," She reminded me.
"Just reminding you,"
"You're going to meet his parents?" Jay asked.
"Not that, but like 14 of them." Evie corrected
"14?" Lonnie asked
"Their wives too," I added.
Lonnie looked at me in shock. I sharply raised an eyebrow at her to keep her mouth shut.
"Must be exciting," Lonnie said
"That's another word for it." Evie mumbled.
I smirked at her.
"Evie, do you hear about that shoe sale at PayPrincess?"
"Shoe sale?" Evie perked, dropping what she was doing.
"Why would you say that!?" I asked
"Gotta have my girls back," Lonnie replied
"How long has it been going on?" Evie asked
"Few hours."
"Guys, we'll be right back," Evie took Lonnie's hand and left.
"Evie!" I shouted.
She shut the door and Jay looked at me. "I guess I can finish up your measurements,"
I grabbed the loose leaf that Evie was using and looked at what needed to done. There wasn't much. It was mostly double checking everything.
"So what's your intentions?" Jay asked
"To make sure that you're measured your correctly?" I told him.
"With Evie smart mouth,"
Don't worry, Jay likes you, she said. Don't worry, Jay won't overreact she said. DON'T WORRY ABOUT JAY SHE SAID!
"I guess to make sure she's happy and things along that line," I took half a step back.
"Whats at the end of the line,"
"Chad," I joked.
"Very funny short stuff even though you're taller than most, seriously."
"Whatever Evie wants, I don't really think ahead," I answered
"Evie has a breakdown, what do you do?"
"To be honest it would be over with before I knew. Like Evie would show weakness,"
Jay nodded, "But let say you walk in the room,"
What would I do?
"Ask if her if she's okay, she would lie saying that's she's fine. If she wanted comfort or support she would force it on me, if she didn't then I would just sit there and make sure she's getting better," I explained.
"How many kids?" He asked
I was taken back by his question. "Woah, that's a little far fetched,"
"Well everyone has preferences,"
I looked at him, I really didn't want to say anything. I shook my head, "That's a bit personal if you ask me."
"Well you are dating someone who's basically a sister to me," Jay reminded me
Well you are a bit nosey.
"Just relax Jay. Like I would hurt her,"
"Are you kidding me?" Jay slightly yelled. "You've already hurt her! You stabbed her in the back at family day! You don't understand how alone she felt! At that time she only had you and Ben on her side and neither of you did a thing!"
"Like I could have done anything Jay! Do you seriously think I could've changed what happened? I almost got a suspension for going against a teacher and a Prince for her! I'm not aloud to go against a prince's word! I'm only in this school because my father helped save Snow White's life! I tried to make it up to her, you were there! You know I tried! How do you think it is for me? I will never be able to defend her! So I'm sorry if I hurt her, just understand it wasn't my fault."
"Then maybe she does need a prince," He snapped
"Maybe you need to go back to the isle! You can do, whatever you want here because you have the proclamation protection. Obviously you just take advantage of it."
"Sure I do," He rolled his eyes. "The only time I do is when I'm protecting your little princess"
"Just leave, we don't need any more stress on Evie," I sighed, realizing the damage I helped cause.
"This is Evie's dorm, you can't kick me out."
"Do you want to help Evie or not?" I snapped, "It's her shop anyways and I work here. I'm just asking you to not make things worse."
"Oh so you can tell me what to do, I thought you couldn't get involved, side kick."
"Just please," I begged. "Don't mention anything happened to anyone,"
"Fine," He walked out.
