Much like somniatis_ said the first time around, this story isn't quite what we expect when we start reading it. It is pleasantly light to read, and may remind some of a fairytale, even if it perhaps wasn't the author's intentions to start with. When the story starts, we expect Rabastan (the male protagonist) and Genevieve (the OC) to be like the books described the members of the Sacred Twenty-Eight-heartless and obsessed blood conservatives-but the author describes them as two teenagers who are forced into a purely beneficial marriage and which of they do not wish to be a part; which is exactly what they are.
Considering the fact that the story has just started, it is rather complicated to make a full description of Rabastan's character. He's a teenager who tries to make Genevieve appreciate him despite his family and Genevieve is the same, and you can see that they get closer amidst slightly cliché scenarios which you will have to discover by yourself at your peril.
The writing style is light and simple, with cute episodes in between Genevieve and Rabastan as two awkward teenagers (their date!!) which will attract the soft hearted, but beware of the few remaining typos and grammar mistakes (mostly confusion with your and you're), but you are forgiven for it, young author.
The diversity in the cast is also existent, with Elle Fanning as Genevieve and Reece King as Rabastan.
All in all I'll have to give the story a 7/10, and Rabastan's surprising character an 8/10.
