Hey guys! I start school in like 8 days😭😭😭😭I barely had a summer!!! Ughhh
So anyways, I'm done showing for the year :( Tristate was amazing and Christina was so great!
But now it's time to change, I'm not showing Tina next year, I'm showing RJ!
Yesterday my trainer let me ride him! Agh he's perfect😻 after a whole year of basically riding Christina, RJ felt soooo different! Instead of pushing him on, he moved out by himself👏🏻 Its going to be so hard to get used to him lol
But I guess this means, I won't be riding Christina that much anymore🤷🏼♀️ I loved riding her, but after riding her for a year it did get kinda boring....I will miss showing her a bit, but honestly, even my trainer said, me and RJ have a really good connection and we make an unstoppable team💙
Also, here are some show pictures Myranda's mom took at the last show for me:I already miss my friends I met at Tristate :( I have to wait until the banquet to see them
My wall is now full😂😂👏🏻
QOTD:
Who would you like to ride? And why?RJ or Christina?
RJ, quarter/paint horse. He frames and moves out nicely. Canter very comfy. Will speed up if you aren't balanced or use to much leg on him. Gets faster if you post fast as well. Hard to back, you have to find the right "button" to hit to get him to back nicely. Does amazing side passes and turns. You need to keep your legs wicked still on him and your upper body needs to be completely quiet and relaxed.
Christina, quarter/warmblood mix. Very pokey at home, very fast at shows. You really need a lot of leg to push her on. She does frame up nicely. Her canter is nice, but only if you can keep your leg on her, or she will stop. She can back without a problem and do side passes and turns. Teaches a lot of beginners, where as RJ is just a show team horse. Bomb proof, won't spook at anything. Only bucks if you use your spurs wrong on her or hit her to hard with a crop.
